According to Manfred Mann, it was the idea of drummer Chris Slade to use the chords of "Chopsticks" (the tune had at that point already been integrated into the arrangement) as a transition between song parts. The "deuce"/"douche" confusion stems from technical problems[14] (which can be confirmed by comparing to live recordings).

— Manfred Mann, Record Collector interview (August 2006)[15]
who wrote the song? I'm told it was Springsteen

Definitely not great roads if you get car sick. I always say I wish they could close the road off and I could have Subaru STI and just go nuts even if I'd probably wrap it around a tree

Kinda off topic but still talking about wrestling. If you were in the finals or at the home duals. What would be your walkout song? Mine would be Get Some by Chevelle. Or Torn by Creed. Depends on the mood🤣

Revved up like "DEUCE" in the middle of the night . . . . . . it's a car engine. You must not be old enough

Revved up like a deuce, another runner in the night
How did Mike Evans fit a car engine into a lacrosse helmet?

I would go for humor, entering to I Am Not A ***** by LMFAO.

I also find it quite humorous that the W-word that is a synonym for prostitute is blocked on ON3 even if you replace the o with a 0.

Sorry Bruce, both familiarity and authorship aside, Manfred Mann kicks your butt on this one. An all time great

You spew a lot of horse **** on these pages but this may be your worst take ever. Now, I'm not much of a Springsteen fan, he's what the girls listen to when I was growing up, but the Manfred Mann version is an overproduced piece of crap born of the disco era.

A little hint, if you know where they roost watch where they land when coming down. Position near that spot the next morning.
Watch where they are when they go to roost(fly up). Position accordingly. Forget the calls, an old tom will know the sound seems off and he'll spot you.
I never call until they are on the ground and the hens start talking.

I got my first turkey in Nebraska a few days ago. Tiny little town of Arnold, population 597. Three of us stayed in a 3 bedroom for $100/night total, and the farmer gave us access to 1000 acres of private land. What a great time, people were so friendly.
Eastern, Rio or Merriam? I was at UNL for my grad degree. Loved Nebraska!!! 😊. Looking at the map it could even be a Merriam hybrid in that area.

Merriam. I’m from Arizona so the same type as here.
Shot this Merriam yesterday in South Dakota. Most “true” Merriam birds are in the Pine Ridge area of Nebraska, Black Hills of South Dakota and Wyoming also Montana and Idaho. Im probably missing a few places. Lots of hybrids in central Nebraska. I didn’t know Arizona had Merriam birds. I thought that they were Rios. Thanks for the added information, 😊
The strutting bird is one the I missed in South Dakota with my bow.
By the way, I did quarter him out and pack him out, it took many trips but it was worth it!
NOTE SARCASM….., from the Bo Nickel bear hunt thread 😂😂😂😂

The white tipped fans on Merriam’s just set them apart from Rios, Easterns, and Osceolas. They’re such a pretty bird. I’ve always wanted to hunt one in Wyoming

I’ve taken many turkeys in my lite. The Merriams are by far the prettiest. Hunting Merriams out west and seeing them fan and strut never gets old.
This was the group of birds on my archery hunt a few days ago. ❤️❤️❤️
16 mature toms in all 😊.
