So Franklin gets hired at VoTech and senior administrators suddenly start retiring.

Seems to me like it could be coincidental political maneuvering independent of Franklin.

The egomaniac recently said something to the effect of “We should’ve been going all in and spending like this for the past 12 years”…..coincidentally that’s the exact time that the President and AD (who hired him btw) had been at VTech and now have both stepped down.

Way to embarrass and call out your bosses, James The Snake.

VT is totally bought into James, and they should be...but it comes with things we know about. He needs total "alignment" or.... more easily defined: Absolute unfettered spending for his football team and coaches to produce the 9-10 wins you covet. If they don't win the 9 or 10 games after investing, then there needed to be more "alignment." It's a slippery slope that even our Government would be jealous of.

Hmmm 🤔

Correlation or mere coincidence?
Someone needs to hit you over the head with a baseball bat - might knock some sense into you.

Which would explain why OSU and other teams NIL budgets were substantially higher the past few years huh?

Nittering Nabob- With all due respect, I am wondering why the derogatory reference to Virginia Tech as Vo-Tech? It sounds as if you are making fun of vocational education as a non-academic entity for "burnouts" and "troublemakers." I am a voc-tech graduate with a vocational certificate in electronics technology. I also have a Bachelor of Arts, Master's Degree, and Ph.D equivalent credits. Vocational education is a gateway to many different avenues in life and should not be looked down upon as it is by many of the so-called "educated" population. I would rather see my child graduate with an HVAC certificate than go to a four-year accredited university and earn a psychology/sociology degree that is for all intents totally worthless unless you are willing to spend thousands more for grad school. Are you not aware that in NYC plumbers/electricians earn more annually than Harvard graduates? Thus, the next time you're having car trouble and need to depend on your auto mechanic just think of "vo-tech." Thanks...

I’m a high school counselor at a school in Northern Virginia that had been known for extremely high graduation rates/college attendance. Since COVID our kids have (rightfully) been disillusioned with going to college as they watched what happened to older Gen Z’s going into massive debt and not finding good jobs—or any job at all. There’s been a tidal wave of kids foregoing traditional 4-year college and choosing community college or the trades. In fact, we have academies for the students while in high school that can certify them in trades (HVAC, welding, construction, electrical, etc) and they’ve been the big winners the past several years—graduating high school with high paying job offers in hand and no debt. Many of them are securing jobs at data centers.

I would love to be able to play VT in the playoffs. Once in a while, I check out their message forum. Their fans have a pretty wacky opinion on what happened here with Franklin, and they look at us as a rival now.
