Well the Kentucky fans don't deserve what's getting ready to happen to them at 6:30.

We love talking basketball.

You going to give us 14 straight years and no championship and then let this happen at 6:30 on live TV.

👹🔥

We wanted a better chance at winning and you went and got as a coach that can't get ******* players.

Not only will Mark Pope's head roll for this but everybody that's involved ..

He does not absolutely deserve to be the coach at the beginning of the season in November if he does not get this kid.

We don't play on ******* games here in Kentucky. You better get him.

Continue supporting mediocre, tard.
I think people would respect you more if you didn’t use the word “tard.” And it’s not because “OMG that word is so insensitive.” (but, it is), but it’s because that’s an insult a 9 year old uses. Be a little more clever, for example “JwUKFan11 is the reason shampoo has instructions.” But reading your comments, you may be 9.

I do not support Coach Pope. I did, but I don’t see how he can turn this train wreck around. However, Stokes is the kind of guy that would jerk people’s chain even though he knew he was going to that school. He’s the ultimate narcissist! Therefore, I think UK does have a chance.

They just said on Sleepers Media that the loser of the Stokes sweepstakes is going to be the winner of the Billy Donovan coaching hire. Who would rather miss out on Stokes if it meant getting Donovan?

For him to pick Kansas something had to go .
down between Adidas and Nike in some shape or form.
I'm surprised that this in itself hasn't let the cat out of the bag.
There had to be some sort of logistics between the two shoe companies to make Stokes to Kansas work.
Maybe Adidas is out of the picture totally😁

He will chose Kentucky and then transfer to Kansas. I wouldn’t be shocked. This kid is one of the biggest divas, if not the biggest, to come out of college in recent memory. He enjoys the limelight and drama so that’s why I think he chooses Kansas. The fallout from BBN is much more “juicy” than rock chalk jawhawk dorks

I don’t care. It’s a UK basketball board, anyone supporting this coach is handicapped. I don’t care about being respected by these people that are dragging the program down.

I don’t get the Nike/adidas thing. Cooper Flagg was signed with NB while wearing Nike gear. What’s stopping Nike from locking him up with them the second he leaves Kansas? Nike has so much money this is but a mere annoyance for them should be choose Kansas. The long term option is the goal here, not one year in college.

While I still don’t think we get him, I don’t put stock in any predictions right now.

I think Stokes accomplished what he really wanted all along: no one on the planet knows where he’s headed tonight except himself

Pope has only been on this guy for two years and literally put every egg he has into this basket. The money is higher, if he misses on him, stick a fork in him unless he can get Momcilovic, and that is a long long long shot.

Agreed. No reason to think Pope landed this guy, but no expert has a firm idea of where he will go. I wonder if the coaches even know. Their opinion is basically useless so one just needs to use common sense on this one.

My reaction will be the same regardless. We aren’t going to be good without him, we aren’t going to be good with him. Doubt he lives up to his hype wherever he goes.

Wait! Did I miss an election? Did Kentucky basketball become a democracy?
I didn't cast any vote for coach. And me not crying like a petulant child, and beating a dead horse, hasn't had any effect whatsoever.
He's getting a third year. If it's not a good one he'll likely be gone, I'll help him pack. But you having a 9 moth tantrum won't change anything. I think you know this, and just enjoy insulting people.

This reminds me of the Julius Randle recruitment where everyone thought he was going to Kansas and then he committed to Kentucky.
Sorry, NOTHING like that recruitment at all! Stokes is in a class of his own, and we may (I sure hope not) never see a recruitment like this ever again, regardless of his pick!

Barkley and Kenny Smith were both Nike. Shaq was Reebok. Soo, this doesn't mean anything. Just posting useless information.

Yeah only the tards that are still supporting Pope think otherwise.
What moron still uses tards unless they're talking about U of L. Do I think Pope is not the right fit for us and we probably should go with another coach yes, I do.. but guess what he has our coach this year and I will support him in the team. You guys that call him names or talk about his religion really give us all a bad name. I get about the frustration last year and with recruiting. But I was impressed with what he did the first year. And like I said, since he is our coach, I want to see how this year progresses.

Flagg went to a Nike school but I don't believe he had an individual Nike deal before going to Duke.
Stokes supposedly has an individual Nike deal already signed.

If there wasn’t at least two choices, then they wouldn’t invite him on the show to decide
There doesn’t have to be two choices for him to be invited on the show to announce. My question is how serious is Kentucky being considered, nobody seems to think Kentucky has much of a chance.
