Haha! As a proud Southern Columbia grad, I worked one summer for a few weeks at Knoebels. Raked in 90 cents an hour for the "privilege." My teammates and I were offered 3x that to trim "Christmas trees" for Abraczinskas's Nurseries and we thought it was a gold rush . Buddy Knoebel was once my wrestling coach and Diane was a classmate. It's a hard working family and the park is a "throw back" to what I consider were "better times." My wife and I (she grew up about 3 miles from there) enjoyed bringing our boys there as much as possible.....since we were often in the area visiting parents. Parent's are gone as is my wife and the boys have little ones to raise. I would be thrilled to see my grandchildren smile with glee there some day.....who knows.

My son - frosh at University Park - will begin his 6th year working at Knoebels in a few weeks when he comes home
Haven’t been there in decades (8th grade field trip) but I think I’ll make a point of going this year.
