Might also mean that Carr should wrestle more high level wrestlers prepping for a tournament like this and less UFC fighters in RAF

Not so sure. Hamiti lost to McBryde. Definitely some guys making major leaps but others not so much

it really makes me hope mesenbrink is in for trials though. He is absolutely the best guy at 74kg

Semis are on mat 2 and 3. Whether or not we'll see them is another matter.

Lilledahl vs. Cronin first on mat 3. Blaze vs. Gross follows. Then Bartlett/Bassett.

Luke Lilledahl beat Liam Cronin by technical fall, 10-0, in 3:52 to advance to the 57-kilogram finals at the US Open. He'll face reigning World team member Spencer Lee, who pinned his opponent in the other semifinal. The Nittany Lion used five takedowns to earn the early stoppage.
