I think they are making a similar mistake to us last season, signing what is perceived to be the best they can without paying attention to playing styles and how each player fits the team mold. They've bagged a few guys but most don't fit Kelsey's system at all. I don't see them as the threat most here act like they will be. They will end up about the same as their team this year did IMO.

those sports have player unions you can negotiate Collective bargaining agreements with. UK spent $22 million last year. So money doesn't always equal championships
Iowa's offense had the slowest pace of play in the Country last year which effects offensive stats. They also played him a lot at Center when he is a stretch four. He was a good pickup for anybody who got him.
Agree to disagree, it's okay to have a different opinion. He is a 6th or 7th man at best if you expect to be a top 25 team.
I don't think they are bringing him in to be the main cog but an inside presence who can shoot 3s and spread the floor.
I remember when Louisville beat UK at Rupp in 1990 and trashed the visitors locker room and ripped the shower heads out with the water running.

It's semi-pro sports. Every day of the week and 2x on Sunday. We can get used to it or keep whining about it.
Just a lot more complicated that renting them the way we USED TO rent them.
