Here's a new one from this morning, people speeding around the curve into your lane in a parking garage. Then looking at you like I should back up so they can squeeze by. Yo *****, I have time to wait, your the one late. 17 you and your Subaru.

Oh gawd cmon - you sound like my wife. There’s more fecal matter on shopping carts, handrails, and gas pump handles than a public bathroom door. Hell if you eat out you’re more likely to catch something than from a public restroom
Maybe it's just me, but that makes me more inclined to wash my hands more often and to use the disinfectent wipes on the shopping carts, disinfect after pumping gas, etc. than it makes me want to handle the bathroom door immediately after I washed my hands and semi-defeat the purpose.

I also question the truth of your statement because I've seen a lot of people pop out of a stall and walk out without washing. I'm sure the bathroom door handle does get cleaned more often than most of the other things you mention.

I’ve never understood why people take so effing long at drive thru ATMs. I swear some people sit in front of the machine for 5 minutes with people in line behind them. WTF are they doing?? I time myself often to see just how long it should take. From the time I pull up and pull off, it’s a minute or under.

They don't even have to be on a scooter. Just some schmuck blocking the entire aisle with his buggy while he yaks on the phone or contemplates his grocery purchase. Or two people standing in the middle of the aisle carrying on a conversation without a damn care in the world.

Makes me livid.
I'd take this one a bit further. If you're just wandering down the aisle with your cart browsing, you should go to a re-education camp at least. Go to the store with a plan. Not everyone needs to have their cart in the aisle. Leave your cart at the endcap or in the thoroughfare and go in to get the things you need in the aisle.

more on your cell phone screen - but seriously, the nasty bacteria and virals loads on bathroom door handles is how illnesses spread the easiest and fastest, other than spittle, sneezes, coughs. Its not the microscopic ones on carts, handrails, gas pumps. The bathroom door handle has millions of fresh living bacteria and viruses, guessing it is an order of magnitude higher than other things mentioned.
How so? Normal urine is sterile. Urine in general is not a particularly significant reservoir of infection. Feces are gross but also unlikely to transmit disease from healthy people. Even if somebody has a fecal-oral or any other illness chances are much higher that they would have just washed their hands than anyone going in and out of any other room. Also people don't go to the toilet to blow their nose when they have an upper respiratory illness. They are more likely to do that just before they do something like use a shopping cart or the copier.

Are you really mad about their driving? Or are you just homophobic against lesbians?

I haven’t used an ATM in over 25 years. This must be a third world problem.

Eating noisily in public. Smacking, slurping, burping out loud. Then again, in some parts of the world they would likely say the polar opposite.

Dude, it's like you have access to that corner of my mind that controls thoughts of murder and rage. Keep your 17n @$$ and your check-out items out of my 17n space, you 17n moron.
I know a lot about murder and rage. It may be my specialty**

People that treat fast food workers like it's a 5 star restaurant. Or any person making minimum wage job and the person coming in the store treating it like they own the place.

people that let their kids act like complete idiots running all over a store and picking up everything and throwing it.

people that go into a store 5 minutes to close and want to browse.

1) Those who can't prioritize or, more infuriatingly, refuse to. Not everything is a five alarm emergency.

2) Those with zero disregard or decorum for everyone else in the world.

3) Those who disrespect or belittle hard working folks in what they consider a sub-standard job (which may often be a 2nd or 3rd).
I didn't know you were a plumber.**

Someone loading their stuff onto the very short self-checkout conveyer after standing right on freaking top of you while you scan your stuff. Those 10 seconds you gained will not make your life better. These people also tailgate in the right lane as you near an exit from the interstate. I’m certain of it.

I'm not sure I'm following this correctly. The self checkouts are usually individual kiosks, right? These people must be basically in your back pocket and how do their items not get mixed in with yours?

I'd be livid as hell, as well. I've not encountered this phenomenon and I hopefully never will.

Urine is sterile only at the time of exit. If you have to ask about ingesting fecal matter then there's really no point. Be sure to handshake everyone after they pee and poop. Everyone.

What do most these things have in common? People no longer think of the world outside their home as a space to be shared with others, but as a space the purpose of which is to serve their own self-perceived identity (which is subject to change minute-by-minute, and it is the world's responsibility to track and respond favorably towards.

I have asked a few to back off until I’m done. But on several occasions I let it ride to see why the front of their cart was nearly touching me while I scanned my items. Sure enough, I start to pay on the self-checkout and they are standing right next to me loading things on. Just give me some damn breathing room.

OK well what is urine being contaminated with after exit? I'd say most people don't piss on their hands anyway. Nobody likes the thought of eating someone's crap germs for health reasons and its just plain gross. It is also why everyone should wash their hands after toileting. But I've got news for you. If a person gets **** on their hands and doesn't wash properly it isn't all magically deposited on the bathroom door handle. It is spread to everything they handle for quite a while. I say all of that to make the point that touching a toilet door is no different than any other door or any number of public surfaces. That is just the microbial world that we live in.

My grocery store has a couple of conveyor seal check outs for people with a lot of groceries. You scan your groceries, pay, then go to the end & bag them. I rarely use it & have never had a problem with a quick scanner behind me. But if one does, a few of their groceries might “accidentally “ wind up at my house.

I’m with you but your presentation is off!

I have never once felt weird about touching the door knob anywhere and never used a paper towel bc I’m not G A Y Y Y!

Don’t really get sick that often either.

How do you get cash? There are still some times where cash is still best. I get $200 maybe 4 times a year.
I carry cash and use it often. I’ve always been a buyer and seller of things so I’ve always kept cash around in case something popped up on Marketplace on a Sunday morning so I just go to the safe and get a couple hundred when my wallet gets low. I honestly don’t have a debit card and haven’t used an ATM in probably 35 years.
