Make no mistake, I am not condoning it. But, what if he has learned from it and become a better person? How long should you be judged by 1 act? In perpetuity? Does an act done in the "heat of the moment" hold the same weight as something pre-meditated?
Mind you, I am FAR from a bleeding heart. Full out rapists, child traffickers and murderers deserve a special place in hell. I would even add identity thieves that steal people's life savings Once you go down that road, your soul is past the point of redemption. But, a reactionary poor decision when you are young and stupid can actually be a great learning experience if you are truly remorseful and didn't do any long lasting damage to anyone.
Now, I will say, if he kept doing it after or does it again, he deserves to be roasted. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me!
