Rutgers Basketball forward Chris Nwuli to enter Transfer Portal
Rutgers Basketball forward Chris Nwuli announces that he will enter the Transfer Portal after just one season with the Scarlet Knights.
He most likely is just looking to transfer down for playing time. No one is going to pay him a lot.Can only assume he thought he was worth more than we did. Doesn't seem like a good sign, feels like we are finding the market higher than expected and can't give some carryovers what we thought we could.
What he'll end up getting paid and what he thinks he's worth are different things. Lots of kids out there are finding they aren't worth what they think despite the paydays others are getting. He most likely is just looking to transfer down for playing time. No one is going to pay him a lot.
He most likely left for playing time. Not for money. What he'll end up getting paid and what he thinks he's worth are different things. Lots of kids out there are finding they aren't worth what they think despite the paydays others are getting.
With all due respect..how do you know why he left?He most likely left for playing time. Not for money.
From Vegas if I recallWith all due respect..how do you know why he left?
Maybe he didn't like the coaching?
Or he was told get out.
Or wants back west.. (he's from the west right?)
Personally I wish him well because he busted his *** (imho) and think he could have had a role because Pike isn't building any stud team. Money or not.
there is no more developimg all players are one and doneNot really a loss but it would have been nice to see if he continued to develop.
In theory you are correct. Totally agree that everyone who has left so far is not a big deal and addition by subtraction applies. But back in reality, will we get the proven, bigger, faster forwards who can shoot and crash the boards? I am having my doubts, based upon Richie’s pod update today and now Duarte being the first addition (first add was not a starting center, not even a backup center, not a starting power forward, not even a backup power forward). Not an inspiring start, we’ll see what happens, might be judging a book by its cover right now, but based upon this start and recent portal track record of the program, doubt is creeping in.All of these are addition by subtraction providing we get some proven, bigger, faster forwards who can shoot and crash the boards.
It's possible, but he was also the only remaining forward on the roster, so PT was there for the taking. It's more likely he left for $, didn't like NJ, likes to move every year, ect.He most likely left for playing time. Not for money.
We’ll see where he transfers and that will tell you the answer. It's possible, but he was also the only remaining forward on the roster, so PT was there for the taking. It's more likely he left for $, didn't like NJ, likes to move every year, ect.
Or it will tell us who would take him. We'll never know for sure. He'll never say I left for the $ in an interview. We’ll see where he transfers and that will tell you the answer.
You know this isnt how it worksNot really a loss but it would have been nice to see if he continued to develop.
Huh? He will continue to develop, just not here. So I won’t be seeing it.You know this isnt how it works
Its one year to prove yourselfHuh? He will continue to develop, just not here. So I won’t be seeing it.
I said not a big loss. Its one year to prove yourself
Not sure why you care about him
