Is there anything out there that makes Pope look good? I'm serious. What is out there that makes him look good? I'm open to suggestions.Like I said, you would believe anything that makes UK, or Pope look bad, but you wont even consider believing anything that might make Pope/UK look good.
Your agenda is owning you.
He looked pretty good after year 1 and I would say getting Kam and Moreno back, are very good looks, especially if the Moreno thing is true.Is there anything out there that makes Pope look good? I'm serious. What is out there that makes him look good? I'm open to suggestions.
Nobody is saying they don't like the dude. You can't pay 3 million to a 15 min per game guy.Yes that guy who played here for two years, gave it his all, became one of the best shooters in the country, and was mostly liked by the fanbase until last night?
F*ck him.
Everyone else in and around the program must go under the bus to protect Pope!!
Seriously how do people not see what is happening?
They would be correct. Chandler can ask for what he wants. He's just not worth half thatIf it was reported that Pope paid Chandler that much to stay, that same poster would have been calling Pope nuts and claiming Pope has no clue how to manage a roster.
This. KSR is getting everything wrong lately. I won’t believe it til I hear another sourceThere’s no way Chandler demanded $3 mil to stay.
And there’s no way Pope didn’t pay it if he did.
This is not a money story. Maybe Chandler thinks he has an NBA future? If he does then he’s getting advice on what he needs to do get there.
He’s never going to improve playing for Pope.
UK doesn’t have a money problem in recruiting.
To me it actually makes sense from a BYU standpoint though. Whole roster is gone and Chandler is perfect for their donor/fanbase. One of their own mormon guy replacing Saunders. I can see why they would overpay him.
Nobody has said BYU plans to overpay.
They paid a ton to get Branch there and they lost Wright.
Chandler doesn't solve their PG situation in the least.
Kennard Davis won't play for cheap either.
I think maybe it was BYU that overestimated his value. He was just asking UK to match their overestimation.Chandler was actually a solid player, he averaged nearly 10ppg, good shooting percentages, should be a sixth seventh man, not a starter at UK, he overestimated his value.
C'mon man, coaches made a defensive adjustment against him and it worked. What you lose with Chandler is your closer. He closed out several games this year. Literally won games with his shot. He had seven threes in one game this year.
So anybody that thinks you ain't losing something when you lose Chandler you're ******* crazy. You now have no closer. You had him and Oweh as closers.
Can you find another closer?
I don't know it's pretty rare thing.
Can you find somebody that can hit 7 threes in Rupp Arena again?
Doesn't happen often.
But his last five seven eight games he kind of went down the toilet as the pressure went up.
I would have kept him though. But I think he knows he would have been back on the bench.
He did some things this year though to win games. 100% fact.
It was an honor to have you as a Wildcat my friend. You will be remembered fondly.
Good luck on the way up
I wouldn’t be surprised if he got about the same and went back more so from a religious and family perspective.I think maybe it was BYU that overestimated his value. He was just asking UK to match their overestimation.
CC flat out disappeared in the SEC and NCAA tournament. That told me all I needed to know. If he wanted to come off the bench and bang a few threes every game, great! If not, see ya!Chandler was actually a solid player, he averaged nearly 10ppg, good shooting percentages, should be a sixth seventh man, not a starter at UK, he overestimated his value.
Oh he definitely did, he disappeared often against elite teams.CC flat out disappeared in the SEC and NCAA tournament. That told me all I needed to know. If he wanted to come off the bench and bang a few threes every game, great! If not, see ya!
And it's not like they are having to do a new job. Just getting paid more to still just play basketball. Like a promotion without extra responsibility.I would never fault a player for going after more money. I actually like my job but if someone offered me more I would leave in a second.
Sure he did. There’s no way Chandler demanded $3 mil to stay.

I was talking about Chandler, Moreno wasn’t even mentioned. I motion that you’re a cry baby that’s emotional like a teenage girl. No, I don't have you confused with anybody and you did talk about Moreno (see below). You, of course, don't believe he was offered 4 million dollars and we also know you don't believe the 3.2 million Chandler asked for.
But if we flipped these and UK overpaid for both these players, I bet you would have zero issues believing them.
You cried like a little girl over Calipari when he was here now you’re crying like a little girl because I said I didnt believe Collin Chandler asked for 3.2 million dollars. Sounds like you need go get your testosterone checked you’re getting all emotional again.I motion we promote johnrambo82 to the official NIL offer guidance councelor of the board. He can tell us what we should and shouldn’t believe.

Alsk, getting Mo Williams is a good look IMO.
But look around the country, every team is losing a good portion of their team to the portal, on the surface, guys leaving is a bad look.
But can we at least wait and see who Pope gets from the portal before the next round of Pope trashing?
What have they gotten wrong? This. KSR is getting everything wrong lately. I won’t believe it til I hear another source
Kam hit 8 in agame this season.I
Kobe hit seven last year and Reed had seven the year before
