And what about Facundo? Or will he be out of eligibility already?
That should be a year beyond his eligibility.

My very very very rough estimate of the back half of the cowboys lineup in two years:

Lockett
Ryder
Merrill
Ross

Michael White, with ANY offense, has to be thought to be at least decent odds to be 184 or 197.
Just like lower weights, there’s an odd man out.

I have to think White gets in the lineup by year 2, but we shall see.

Assuming Lockett goes 174, Facundo's better path in 2027 would be challenging Routledge for 165.

2027 is his last year, unless he can get a medical shirt for 2025 when he lost out to Kasak for 157 -- he only competed at the Black Knight Invitational in November, so maybe there's a chance for that.

I see now that you’re talking about the 27/28 season, I read too quickly and thought you were talking about this very next year.

Still, time flies… I would have thought off the top of my head he had two more seasons.

So thinking it through, I presume he RS’d a year before the one he started for us, then sat his third year with us… then started this past season and presumably this coming season for them.

And I forgot about the ORS year… It seems like he was just a freshman…

Good rule of thumb… things were twice as long ago as I thought!

I still remember when we landed him, and was pretty fired up. His HS petigree pointed to yet another multi timer. Now looking back over his nearly full career, I can't recall someone of that caliber with a less impressive career. An enigma, well you can't blame it on coaching. I feel for him.
