Ohhh..huh. I guess I'd be surprised if he outplaced whoever PSU rolls out at 174 next year but I'm a homer so idk. As you said, trust in cael and co.
Kid is from NJ for starters and maybe it’s more that he likes the PSU culture and has ties within the program we do not know about. Or maybe it’s something wrestling lineup related - in Cael we trust.

Nebraska?
I think Nebraska will definitely make a push, but I think VT will as well. I was told at the beginning of March this could be happening and the reason was training partners. I have no idea why I think he'll go to VT, but thats just my gut.

Michigan makes sense too, unless they're ready to roll out Aslikyan as a true FR.

Robinson + Crookham added to Lemley, Catrabone, Gilcher, and the Mantanonas would make a sneaky good lineup.

I can't wait til opposing fan bases use "in cael we trust" as a form of insult. They love the PSU cult talk already. Would be fun to just play into it lol

This isn't transfer news but Steve Mytch just announced he's leaving Rutgers as well.

It'll be interesting to see who else leaves! Hearer's, Mason..etc?

Waiting for the "BOOM". He, apparently, was at the controls for the recent PA pipeline and now he's gone, too. Rutgers is in shambles.

Mytych’s son is going to be a freshman next year too if I’m not mistaken. Perfect time for dad to take a new job. I’d imagine he’d want to stay in PA for his kid’s sake as a competitor and for recruiting, but who knows these days

Edit: went to double check myself via Track and Steve Jr will be an 8th grader next year. He took 3rd at 96lbs at PJWs this year for Saucon Valley. You can read the synopsis of Steve Sr’s resignation here: https://www.on3.com/sites/the-knigh...assistant-steve-mytych-steps-down-from-staff/

At first, I thought this was one of those cut-and-paste videos or an AI generated one. It cuts from Manning to two dudes at one table in an empty room. Secondly, I'm surprised that Manning didn't "coach speak" and say AJ is no longer on the team, and I won't answer anything more. But then he goes and conjectures on eligibility and a doctor sign-off will be needed, plus a knee injury that will require surgery soon. Just seemed weird. And I still am no fan of Manning. Waiting for someone to yell "Mark Manning Sit Down!!"
Did he hold the brick while talking?
