Heck of a game and season for Michigan. They ended up as the highest rated team in the history of KenPom (last 30 seasons). Top defense in the country and 4th best offense.

It had been a long wait for the Big Ten...lots of negative variance losing that many title games in a row. Glad the conference finally got another one.

Grumpy old man here. First championship game in awhile where I wasn't really rooting for one team going in. A couple of thoughts, college basketball needs to clean up their game. the amount of clutching and grabbing out front is ridiculous. How about we get back to sliding your feet and using your legs instead of an arm bar or a 2-handed clutch and grab? Also, at some point, can we get back to the established pivot foot? The amount of walking is NBA-level. I don't mind missing an extra step on a clean break-away, but can we please make a trapped player pivot out of trouble instead of sliding and shuffling away. How about the return of the jump stop? Finally, replay reviews are irrelevant when a player 2-hand pushes a rebounder from behind into 3 other players causing a bowling effect and it's considered a basketball play.

Not having a rooting interest, the 3 gentlemen who "earned" the championship game should be congratulated for a fine season and then everything should be done to make sure they don't work meaningful games late next season.

If it wasn't so dark out, I'd go yell at some clouds.
The grabbing and holding out front is ridiculous. When there’s a big foul disparity (as there was last night), the excuse is always “well, one team went to the basket more and got the fouls”, but there can be fouls out front as well, they just rarely call it. Bigs are protected, guards can get the crap beat out of them.

I’d like to read your impressions of watching a basketball game in an arena that seats 70,000. Enjoy the game.
Not a great atmosphere for basketball. Yes, a lot more fans and very loud, but the crowd is too far removed from the game. I enjoyed it though other than the three Michigan fans in the section next to us that decided they had a right to be the only three people in the entire side of the arena to stand for the entire game…it’s called a seat and you paid for a seat, so sit the fk down. Luckily it didn’t block my view but they were just to the left of me and I had to see their antics all game.

Official, unofficial, whatever.

#3 Illinois vs. #2 UConn, 6:09 p.m. EDT, TBS/truTV/HBO Max

#1 Michigan vs. #1 Arizona, 8:49 p.m. EDT, TBS/truTV/HBO Max

Sadly for me, Illinois is the least likely of the four to win it all. I expect uconn to win tonight. 😞

If it can’t be Illinois, let it be uconn or arizona for the title.
How long before we find out scum cheated?

I refuse to watch the tournament, I have very good information the system is rigged to keep PSU out of the tournament.

UConn started a freshman that's about to turn 20, and 4 guys that are 22 or older. Lots of sour grapes.
I'm just glad the Crybaby lost although if he had won he would have supplanted Michigan Man Tommy Brady as the greatest living American by ESPN.
