I’m going to the game. Not crazy about being around so many Michigan fans, but I decided to go any way.

I’d like to read your impressions of watching a basketball game in an arena that seats 70,000. Enjoy the game.

I'm pulling for Michigan. If they win, the Big Ten will hold championships for men's soccer, field hockey, football, men's basketball, women's basketball, wrestling, women's hockey and potentially men's hockey if one of the two remaining teams can pull it off.
That's because it just means even more in the Big 10.

This game is not what I wanted but pretty much saw it coming once UConn miraculously beat Duke and Florida somehow lost to Iowa. I was hoping Arizona would actually have a pulse and challenge Michigan but that did not happen.

I do see Michigan winning tonight but don't see it being a blowout but it could be a blowout. If Michigan can neutralize Reed then they should win convincingly unless Karaban and whomever else go on some ridiculous heater. No matter what happens it is an annoying result. Michigan winning, well it is Michigan but I don't mind Dusty May but it is certainly not a good thing. The flip side is you have the fighting Danny Hurley Crybabies. Is there a more unlikable coach in the sport? Having that guy pull off some huge upset would be unbearable. Their Duke win was bad enough but to then see them win it all after they should have been eliminated would be horrible.

We just hired an out of work announcer here in Chapel Hill.

He did win a ring in the NBA so there's that.

Does UConn have great bball NIL resources, or is Hurley that good of a recruiter/developer? Win or lose, it’s impressive they can still compete at this elite level with all the money in the game.

They must have a bunch of NIL resources but Hurley is also probably the best coach in the country.

It's almost becoming unwatchable. It's just not the game I'm used to seeing and I don't know what I'm watching when a player takes 4 steps to the hoop after palming the ball for 15 seconds and scores a layup.

After the way UCONN lost to St. John’s in the Big East Championship game I never thought they would have made it to the NC game. In the end Michigan’s length dominated the interior game, that was the difference IMHO.

Congratulations to Michigan in a hard earned victory.

Grumpy old man here. First championship game in awhile where I wasn't really rooting for one team going in. A couple of thoughts, college basketball needs to clean up their game. the amount of clutching and grabbing out front is ridiculous. How about we get back to sliding your feet and using your legs instead of an arm bar or a 2-handed clutch and grab? Also, at some point, can we get back to the established pivot foot? The amount of walking is NBA-level. I don't mind missing an extra step on a clean break-away, but can we please make a trapped player pivot out of trouble instead of sliding and shuffling away. How about the return of the jump stop? Finally, replay reviews are irrelevant when a player 2-hand pushes a rebounder from behind into 3 other players causing a bowling effect and it's considered a basketball play.

Not having a rooting interest, the 3 gentlemen who "earned" the championship game should be congratulated for a fine season and then everything should be done to make sure they don't work meaningful games late next season.

If it wasn't so dark out, I'd go yell at some clouds.
