Classless? Don't you say goodbye to someone when they are leaving for home?

Hurley sure wins a lot. He is to coaching what his brother was to being a player.Without question.
I can’t think of a single coach past or present who matches Hurley’s douche-E-ness. Bo Ryan was a prick, Bob Knight was an @zzhole, Steve Alford was a smug pissant, and of course Tom Izzo is a whiny little b*tch.
But Danny Hurley makes all of them look like amateurs in the way of being unlikable.
Illannoy fans are scum. I frankly love it. To heck with em.I hate illannoy more than anyone, but the UCONN fans are pure trash and evil for doing that. They're lucky some embittered illinwek didn't break some bones on those punks.
The U Conn fans were basically doing this directly in the faces of Illini fans:

Iowa fans were just celebrating in the incident you brought up. No direct interaction with Minnesota fans.
Apples and oranges.
You are viewing it the way you want.
At the 2016 NLCS game 5...I watched Cubs fans dance on Dodgers flags in Dodgers stadium and have plenty to say to Dodgers fans passing by.
...and you are viewing it the way you want.
You keep bringing up direct mockery in the faces of the the opposing fans.
I submit that that is different.
And you, as an Iowa fan, have a problem with the hilarious 2002 Iowa fans tearing down the Metrodome goal post incident? It still sticks in your craw?? And you're an Iowa fan???
Most of the incidents you are bringing up are indeed going too far, I agree. So you think that some fans waiving good bye is more classless than anything I have brought up?
I don't think any of it is classless. I think it's fans having a good time. But the UConn example above is so mid compared to thousands of other examples is is hilarious that this video some how shows UConn fans as classless.

He's the grandson of a cop. His father, Bob Hurley Sr., was a legendary head coach in Jersey City.I’m admirer of how Hurley coaches basketball. Yes I am. Does he seem like a douche? Sure. But guess what? We really don’t know what most coaches are really like. I know when I watch a UConn game they’re going to be tough and well coached. He’s the son of a cop and a self made family.
I knew he was a legendary coach, Miracle of St Anthony’s one of the best sports books ever written. I just had thought he was a cop but it’s been awhile since I read it. My bad! He's the grandson of a cop. His father, Bob Hurley Sr., was a legendary head coach in Jersey City.
For one game we can overlook all that. Hurley's a total douche but fitting for the school and the whole state of Connecticut, a bunch of snobs who believe they are all that. I DEMAND that Michigan crush them like they did Arizona.Funny how all of a sudden everyone here wants to pull for Blue who has cheated more than anyone in football over the years and also has unlimited resources playing in the biggest conference. Hurley might be a douche (he is) but he’s one helluva basketball coach.
Damn those Connecticut elitists!Young son and I watched new coach Steve Alford lead teh Hawks over then top-ranked UConn in November 1999 70-68 in the opening game of the Coaches versus Cancer series at Madison Square Garden. Huskies fans were the rudest, most profane, most obnoxious a-holes you'd ever (not) want to meet, shouting in the bathrooms and hallways things like "Go back to the f-ing farm" or doing pig sounds.
Par for the course as I have a brother-in-law and his wife who live in that wretched state and are just elite snobs. They made decent coin in the insurance industry. Even my wife and her other brother in Iowa don't like them.
Personally, I always thought of the 2002 goal post incident as a classless and disrespectful act by Iowa fans, and it was shameful. Sure….most Hawk fans think it was funny…..but I suspect they would have a different view if Minnesota fans did that at Kinnick....and you are viewing it the way you want.

Oh think of the outrage.Personally, I always thought of the 2002 goal post incident as a classless and disrespectful act by Iowa fans, and it was shameful. Sure….most Hawk fans think it was funny…..but I suspect they would have a different view if Minnesota fans did that at Kinnick.

I don't call stuff like that "shameful." There are things that I consider shameful, but they are of a completely different category than any college football revelry.Personally, I always thought of the 2002 goal post incident as a classless and disrespectful act by Iowa fans, and it was shameful. Sure….most Hawk fans think it was funny…..but I suspect they would have a different view if Minnesota fans did that at Kinnick.
First time I have ever witnessed a fanbase do that….so flipping off Illini fans (of all ages) and saying F you is having a ‘good time’?!?! LMAO. Sounds like you would be a good fit for their fanbase….So basically a video of fans having a good time and doing what I have seen fans of every other pro and college team do after they win...makes this group of fans classless?
Damn, I once saw this group of fans rip down another teams goal posts in the other teams stadium after a win. Talk about classless
Spot on post - validates everything I have heard as well. This little video is just a small sampling of what their fanbase embodies.Young son and I watched new coach Steve Alford lead teh Hawks over then top-ranked UConn in November 1999 70-68 in the opening game of the Coaches versus Cancer series at Madison Square Garden.
