As a proud father of an active-duty US service member, I am very happy about this result. I know his family is more relieved that words can express.
I think way too many people forget that these are somebody's kids who are flying around, etc. out there. The son has been in areas where there has been combat of various types going on over his years of service thus far. It is a source of constant worry for his mother and me.

Were you also celebrating the reporters from CBS leaking inside sources (Pentagon) divulging that only one of the pilots was recovered while the CIA was actively trying to message the opposite?

This is one of the unfortunate occurances of today's press competition. Getting a story out ahead of the competition instead of helping to maintain OPSEC is their priority. What concerns me more is who in the U.S. government leaked this info. That is a serious OPSEC violation!
