Note that this is the top of the 1st inning - which makes it even greater.

Haller got some great ones off - The World Series crack left a mark. The microphone people that picked this up deserve medals.

The World Series quip makes it a KO victory for Haller.

All that over a balk call. Which Mike Flanagan (Orioles pitcher) said in the post-game, yes, he thought he did balk.

I thought the other 3 in that crew handled it terribly letting it go on for that long (though maybe they were trained differently back then).

Tom Hallion handled it perfectly in his clip…

Earl Weaver was an original, one of a kind. He smoked cigarettes like a mad man in the dugout throughout the game. I was never an Orioles fan, but he managed some of the greatest teams of that era.
