Honestly, I enjoyed watching them. Very intense competition from some fairly evenly matched teams,
That article is kind of misleading. If it was toxic like they said then why did the players shut down like at Tennessee, and why did they not bolt out in the transfer portal the last three years. K. Johnson would have surely left. I think it is something else and they are using that as the reason. It is not adding up in my book.

UCLA up 19 in the 3rd. SC still with only 25 points. This one is all but over. Betts controlling the middle on defense.
uman1 it ain't over until it is over. Remember our men and Duke men had a 19 point led and they both loss. Anything is possible in the NCAAT.
Lead up to 29 points now. Thorough domination in all phases. For reference UNC was down only 35-34 at the half vs UCLA early in the season.
Love seeing the Gamecocks get smacked on the big stage.

23UNC you have a very good point; however, at least they have made it to the final game back to back. It is very hard to do that with NIL, the portal, etc. Also, they did have CK all year. Congrats to UCLA. They went out there and took it to them.

Yay for UVA for breaking into the final coach's T 25 poll. Glad they were recognized for their NCAA tourney achievement!
Just kidding, not a bad hire.
Unfortunately he cannot bring Maggie Doogan with him in the portal. Arguably the best player for the Spiders in their history, she just exhausted her eligibility. The other two all-conference players at Richmond also graduated. So he picked a great time to move on, but he has nothing notable to bring with him it appears.
That was a quick hire. I just think it is kind of shocking that VA would fire their coach and say it was toxic with the Admin, etc. as means to get rid of her. We know the relationship with the players was not toxic as the report stated it was with the brass and admin. I still think is more than that. IMO I think the powers that be just wanted to get rid of her.
