If true, Im glad she wasn't here when Desanto came because that likely wouldn't have happened under her. Both the university and Desanto ended up benefitting from the risk. Im losing respect in her, she cant work out any stipulations with the athlete and coaches apparently.

I am in favor of bringing AJ in. However, Beth is smart enough that if she kills it, it should cause all of us in favor of it to question our own judgment and defer to her. She’s that good. And she cares about wrestling and Coach brands knows that too

They have a stud, home state kid who redshirted this year.
Felt they would be better off moving on from aj and going with the young guy.
But… that doesn’t fit the narrative of those thinking he should be able to demand Iowa brings on AJ or he’s quitting the team…
Nebraska doesn’t want him. OK State didn’t want him. Iowa doesn’t want him. He’s a freaking national champ and none of those teams want him? Why not? Wake up! Lol

I was being hyperbolic. Well, about his age anyways. Younger is old for a college athlete, and yes AJ will be old next year as well.
Also, who knows how old he was. In certain countries age is just a guess or an outright lie. Finding out his age could be as difficult as discovering how many your local good time Sally has been with.
