He may very well have said it to those that need to know. He seems like an up front type of guy.
I don't think he needs a waiver. He was trying to get an additional year for the auto accident year (wasn't going to happen). Maybe the guy that posted that is conflating that.
She is in no way standing in his way of doing that.

He’s apparently of the belief he deserves another year for 2022 where he wrestled into late January then was out for the year due to a car accident that was his fault.

Agreed, this would be just as good as the Hawks recruiting studs to fill these need weights for the next 3 or 4 years other than Crookham, but he would probably have 2 years to man 133 until the 27 class comes in and redshirts. Great long term fixes (hopefully MC 2.0) and hopefully Crook can stay healthy (my only concern with this scenario).
I sure hope so. Bring him in and figure out 149/157 with him and Block. Would have Estrada as well in the fray as a very solid backup at worst as well.
