National Duals appear to be in mid December

Anyone think we go? Anyone want to?

I don’t think we go. My preference is to just let those fighting for second to continue getting their participation trophy without us.

whatever Cael chooses to do will be 100% correct though lol

Things are always liable to change, but I would be shocked if he takes his team to the duals. The only way that changes is if he sees a benefit to the team.

If my memory serves me correct I believe Cael had already said that it's likely they wouldn't be attending. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
It will be awesome if we dont go listening to all the okie state cuck's crying about PSU "ducking" while hugging their second place trophy.
On a side note, if we do go I'll love seeing our 57, either Duke of Kasak, put Robe-a-dough back into the L column.

I would absolutely love to see Cael take a team of back-ups to the National Duels. It would give those kids some time in the limelight and it would be fun to see how they stack up against everyone else's starters. I think I would really enjoy watching that.

It's my opinion I never said it was a fact therefore it's not made up. Have you ever talked to anyone on Penn st staff about scheduling? Because I have and understand the struggles they have
Is this Jon Lovitz? Oh yeah, well… I had breakfast with Cael just the other day, and … I said I would help him with scheduling, and he said…that would be great… yeah, that’s the ticket.

You pull something out of your *** that is demonstrably wrong then try brag that you have all these contacts. Maybe they can coach you up to not be so incorrect all the time. You do need help on that.

And, No, I don't talk to Penn State's staff as I'm not a Penn State fan.
Why you come over to the PSU board to try and bad mouth people?

That would be cool but it would take away a competition date that could otherwise be applied to a Stanford/Cal Poly trip.

(Disclaimer: I have absolutely no self interest in conveying tbe above opinion.)

At the Ohowihate meet in 2025, I stayed around after the beat down and watched how the wrestlers and Cael interacted with the fans. A staff member (who looked high school young) was nearby and trying to get Cael to move to the locker room. This staff member and I held a 1-minute conversation on Bo not coming to PS and Blaze committed to PS.
According to Corby, I can now say that I spoke with and had a hand in the recruiting of Marcus Blaze. 🤔
😆😆

I believe it'll look something like this:

Black Knight Invitational
@ Oklahoma (returning the trip)
@ Lehigh (the tradition)
@ Princeton (we'll end the season at Rec always so we'll have to pay them back in the Fall for showing up this year)
Collegiate Duals

Then I think there will be a mystery team we will do a home and home with and they come to State College this time around and maybe another smaller East Coast school that will travel to State College for a check

We'll decline NDI shortly and people will take it very well I'm sure

Ummm. I’m referring to your discussions with the wrestling coaches about scheduling. 🤦🏻‍♂️
I know what you attempted to do but it was a poor effort.
We talked about how hard scheduling is not who to schedule.
Don't be a try hard let it come naturally

Cael talks to all of us casuals about scheduling. He gives us randos a lot of credit for the 86 dual win streak. 😂
North. Carolina Friday night Sunday NC State
I’m driving and making 5 day weekend of that.

Then Michigan and Indiana home dual at Bruce Friday night & Sunday at reck hall early @2

I’ve always wanted schools to schedule Quads. Have Penn State book the BJC for a Saturday and schedule a Big12 or an ACC school along with one MAC and one EIWA school with one of them being a Pennsylvania school.

I assume that Oklahoma coming to PSU this year equals a return trip there next year, but we'll see. Wyoming is off the schedule now with that home-and-home complete, opening up a new possible series arrangement with a team out west. Utah Valley would be fun, probably, as would Stanford.

If given a choice, though, a home-and-home with Virginia Tech would be fun.
I’m hoping for the return match to OU for the obvious reason, I can go.

I think Dec 12-13 is way better than Nov 15. I doubt any participants go to CKLV or Collegiate Duals (if they continue) or the Scuffle.

Seeding will be interesting --- is Ohio State #1 (undefeated returning Champion (tic))?

WIth Penn State the seeds are probably #1 Penn State, #2 Okie State, #3 or #4 from VT, Nebraska or Cornell (based on returning points)

Top 4 schools only wrestle 4 matches because of no true wrestle backs. First 2 matches (8 & 16 seeds) will be not be in doubt and could wrestle some backups and win. Certainly matches against a #4 VT and #2 Okie State would be fun and not duplicate just another BigTen dual...

Still don't think we go...

One of the other weird things about this is if you’re going to have the best teams all there, why bother scheduling any on your own?

Heavyweight really does clear out this coming season. Given his height, how much "good" weight could Cole reasonably add this offseason? 10, 15, 20? I'm sure it's been discussed previously but what do people think? What is realistic?
