AJ heading for another Port Hole. "Nebraska opened their arms"....and also their wallets to AJ. Sadly, the coaches begged AJ not to do splits, but he ignored them....even when Nebraska lost the match. I am sure the coaches are gonna miss him. Where is he headed? Rutgers? Iowa State? Okie State? Va Tech? North Carolina/Nc State? Ok...I'll say it........Iowa? Fun times. Call your shot. McPat......get on this :)

According to this, he will need a waiver to compete. Not sure how that affects him entering the portal.

They're wrong.
HS Class of 2020
2021 - free year
2022 - car wreck
2023 - shirt
2024 - Olympic shirt
2025 - Bakersfield
2026 - Nebraska

Yes, he abused the Olympic shirt. PLEASE let's not turn this into yet another 15-page whine-fest.

He has 2027 remaining.

He could theoretically apply for a waiver for the 2022 season, which would give him 2028. He's not eligible for a medical shirt according to NCAA rules, OTOH does anybody expect NCAA to follow its own rules? So it's a possibility until it isn't.

Doesn't his time at Oklahoma State count? Does that count as a free year? Fun times

I actually felt sorry for Manning and crew this season watching them try to control/coach AJF. And Poor Brock Hardy having to spend his final year at Nebraska with AJF in the room ... and out in public.

Hardy, yes. Manning, no -- not like Ferrari's behavior took some sudden unforeseen turn this year unlike any other in his career. Besides, Manning was Downey's first college coach. He knew what he added.

No, that was the Covid freebie
Ferrari was at Oklahoma State for two seasons:

2020-21 - COVID freebie year (national champ as true frosh)
2021-22 - car wreck season; used a year of eligibility. The car wreck (and Ferrari's injuriy) occurred in late January 2022, so I don't see how Ferrari could get a medical redshirt. But as noted, the NCAA allows some strange shite.

After a 26-12 drubbling.....you do this on your opponent's mat? What an embarrassment for Nebraska and his coaches. "Yeah.....we lost but look at me" I guess he asked himself: "What would Jesus do?" .....and did it anyway. Clown. Somebody will grab him :(

2024 ORS year you need to get a waiver for that year to get it back. But he qualified for ORS according to the USAW qualification.guidelines

Could he have got the waiver sooner or does it have to wait until after the last year of regular eligibility?

On what planet should anyone feel sorry for Manning?. He didn’t have to accept the transfer and sure as shite didn’t have to let him wrestle. A wrestler doesn’t follow orders from a coach and he keeps wrestling?? lol. Manning earned every ounce of his problems. Nevermind giving AJ a pass for yet another speeding problem.

Feel sorry for Manning. No…..I feel a crap ton of less respect. Enabler of bad and lawbreaking behavior.

If AF ends up at Iowa, what percentage of the audience will fall asleep sometime between 184 and heavy, with a Ferrari, Ferrari, Keuter lineup rolling in at around 930pm

🤣 It's frustrating because all three of those guys have the talent and physical skills to be high output and elite. But they just refuse to get after it unless they're beating up on some unranked guy

While portal-ing Anthony Ferrari is saying he wants to go from 165 back to 149, imagine this lineup:

165: Anthony Ferrari
174: Gabe Arnold
184: Angelo Ferrari
197: Albert Ferrari
285: Ben Kueter

Forget about Fredo for a second because he sucks, but could the other four all AA without a single takedown?

Considering that will be their murder's row where they will will most matches, and with only 1 or 2 cumulative TDs, they will be on their feet screaming.

I, on the other hand will gladly go through watching the 184 and Hwt OT matches just for the joy of watching Barr bonus a gassed to the point of fainting AJ and an embarrassed Brands try every lunger trick in the book.

Brands isn’t the lunger type. AJ on the other hand will get 16 nosebleeds, claim finger grab, 4 eye pokes, limp and shake out both knees just short of injury clock start and run backwards in 6 splits on the edge, and slowly adjust knee pad 11 times.

IMO Barr vs. Ferrari would look just like the Merrill match.

Really? You must've missed the multitude of matches this past season where he waited as long as possible to toss bricks to help his guys catch their breath.
Most of the times Brands resists throwing the brick to see if the refs will review action on their own and thereby preserve his precious brick !!!!
