It's one thing to review candidates prior to going into a booth.
It's another thing to have the candidates in front of you, and do research in that very moment.

And honestly for the smaller elections like treasurer for our district, frankly no. I previously would not have looked much into who they are. With the names in front of me, I can have my laptop open and look them up, then select who I would pick.
I do not think I'm alone in not knowing some of these smaller lower profile elections, and why when I was a kid and asked my dad about it, he would tell me "just don't worry and vote republican". I bet that's what a lot of people end up doing...

Sounds reasonable until there is a far left Democratic administration in charge. I have zero faith in this administration's DHS officials and will have zero faith in one's to come over the upcoming decades. Each party has shown they will ignore the rule of law at all costs.

All I want is for every legal citizen of the USA to have the ability to vote either in person or by mail, just not sure how we get there without government interference. Such a sad, sad environment has evolved.

You mentioned that you were selling a house recently. Imagine if your buyer, after inspection, came to you and said...

Buyer: "We need you to replace all the pipes in the house to make sure that there's no leakage."

You: "That's absurd. Why would we do that, it is just making it harder for everyone and there is ZERO evidence of any leakage from the current pipes."

Buyer: "You replacing the pipes should have a positive outcome then. no leakage."

did you buy my house, that's almost what they said !!!! but by taking some other steps, I could show that there was no leakage..positive outcome. And, in today's world replacing all the non leaking pipes might have induced new joints which might have leaked...

And I'm not pulling you chain, that's almost what happened...and they bought the house.

But, in the case of our elections, we know there are some "leaks". People have been arrested and gone to jail for voting illegally. And, from my experience I would say that if there is one leak, there likely are many more that haven't been found and not fixed. No specific proof just gut instinct.

So today I'm taking a dump on the U.S. Constitution and issuing an executive order to confiscate all guns in the country. Thank you for your attention to this matter."

And here I thought that each state largely regulated its own voting, for both state and federal offices. Silly me. Trump & Co. should be all means be doing the regulating. 🐘 🤡 :cool:

how did we get from pipes leaking to this? I will admit you do have a great imagination.

But, it's a pretty good bet that we do have murders that we don't know about. there a re lots of missing people. So today how about banning all murders...because you do know that more murders are committed by hammer, knives and other means than with guns. thank you for your attention to this matter

I believe trump was regulating the USPS, since the mail is a federal thing...and it's a pretty good bet that all mail in balloting goes through, or should go though the USPS. This is just an assumption on my part, but it'smore logical than the federal government regulating the stae's election authority

This EO is designed to put a lot of security and fraud protection into any mail in voting that might occur. I like it in absence of the save act being passed at this time.

It will go into the courts and the 2nd amendment will overturn it. Trumps EO is legal. Usps is under the executive branch.

France banned mail-in voting in 1975 - DUE TO FRAUD.

Mexico banned mail-in voting in 1992 - DUE TO FRAUD.

Belgium banned mail-in voting in 2018 - DUE TO FRAUD.

Sweden, Italy, Japan, Russia, Latin American countries and the Middle East DO NOT ALLOW MAIL-IN VOTING.

Democrats would have you believe that the 2020 election that had a staggering amount of mail-in voting was the "most secure election in American history."

Democrats lead by Chuck Schumer sued to block President Trump’s executive order Ensuring Citizenship Verification in Federal Elections.

They say its designed to rig elections ahead of the 2026 midterms.

Also it seems the democrats take issue with Section 2 of the executive order namely –– Prioritization of Investigations and Prosecutions Related to Election Fraud.
