Transfer Portal 2026 + Other team movements

Today is a day to be thankful for not just how good the program is but how stable it is. Will someone go in the portal? Sure, probably. But we're not stuck watching a starter or multiple starters enter and we're not stuck praying PSU adds guys at key weights. To be a Hawkeye fan currently and know you need 4-5 starting caliber transfers and to know that of the 4 you brought in last year you got zero AAs. Hell, 2 never wrestled for them in March and are gone while still having more eligibility. Or you could be a Stanford fan and watch 3 AA level guys depart from what would have been (likely still is) a really good team next year....Nope, not us. We get to congratulate a kid or two for their hard work and effort and wish them the best while knowing we kept the best possible guys...I think I'd hate the portal way more if I weren't a PSU fan.
* Random thought: Crookham is/was a finance engineer major at Lehigh I believe. Iowa doesn't have a real course for that but has something similar that involves a lot of online classes. Michigan has a tremendous grad program for that from what I gather.

So which team does Iowa raid this year? ASU, NDSU and ALR are warming a seat at the club.
I went over there to try and stir them up, but I guess taking two teammates from teams 3 years in a row is not considered raiding because coaches were leaving...already in the portal...it's not as bad as taking 3...yada yada.

Idk why but I feel like this is someone Cael and Co would look at? Challenge for a spot at 41 right away and then take over for SVN next year? Maybe the coffee was a little too strong today. Also trying to figure out if hes listed as a 41 why he wrestled Sealey at 57 at the scuffle. I cant imagine him being remotely considered if hes outgrown 49 for sure.
If Zepeda can make 141 I am surprised he is leaving. If he is a 149/157 it makes more sense. I could see him going out west somewhere but everyone will be interested.

I seen a few people that immediately said on X he's going to VT. I rule nothing out but I definitely don't see that with Gaj, Bassett, and Henson from 41-57 in some order.

I don't see it. Unless he comes in at 157 or at most 165. Unless Tech is going to lose someone to the portal in that area. Maybe Noah Nininger. But I'm gonna say doubtful
I don’t know all the particulars but what I can say is that it was a massive undertaking considering all the sites/boards that were involved and what could be moved was and at this point the ship has sailed on anything additional being moved over. Sorry for missing your previous questions on this and being a bearer of bad news.
