Smart man. Having been there last fall, that's a place where I could live happily for several years at least.
This is the real question about Ruth. Didn't he wrestle for like 10 years already?
2020-2021 didn't count.
2021-2022 freshman year
2022-2023 redshirt freshman year
2023-2024 redshirt sophomore year
2025-2026 redshirt junior year
2026-2027 redshirt senior year
Ok, thanks. But didnt he graduate in 2019? What about 2019 - 2020? Did he defer enrollment?
2020 was his shirt year. He was on the Lehigh roster.

And speaking of posts from the old site, I have asked several times with no answer here, but what happened to the promise that the content from the old site would be brought over here? It would be nice to be able to access that information.
Probably a tech glitch, the person transferring the data accidentally deleted as he was moving it over .
The person set the hard drive down on a rocket shaped shelf. Then he got hungry, so he pushed the button for lunch. But it turned out to be a launch button. And the shelf blasted off into outer space.

Stanford degree in 3 years to an Iowa or OSU might seem a little weird. Michigan I could see.
But Iowa was his dream school.
I could be dense, but what happened to 2024-2025? He finished R12 at the 2025 NCAA tournament. I guess they might have given him a do-over for 2022?

Did miss 24-25, that's my bad, but WrestleStat had him listed still in HS in 19-20, but you're right, his Illinois bio says otherwise.
I'll see my way out of this one haha. It's probably simply put by saying he might or might not have eligibility left based on whatever way the wind is blowing near the NCAA offices on any particular day.

This one feels to me like he put his name in the portal in case he could figure out a way to get another year so he's covered.
An NCAA qualifier @ 184 (for UNC), with 3 years of eligibility remaining.
I believe there was health issues with someone close to him and that he is expected to be back on a roster somewhere this year. I think it would be cool if he went to Morgan St. and looked to give them their first AA

I laugh about how they're practically begging Corby to come back.
Looks like they pretty much have next year's starting lineup all figured out. Now all they have to do is convince them to want to wrestle for TnT.
And you see even their fantasy lineup and it would lose by 50 points. If you’re going to go full crazy, at least put together a team that will scrape 200 points.
It’s also Déjà vu over there re: Taylor and his recruits like it was 10 years ago with Cael. That is, Taylor just throws them out on the mat and of course they will win a title.
IF their fantasy lineup can stay healthy and focused. They have a lousy track record when it comes to that. Certainly glad big bucks bob has more money than sense. I guess he figures if he keeps swinging he'll eventually make contact.
Maybe too many good bars in Iowa City. Perhaps he can just connect the dots.
He actually wrestled okay and got the tough assignments.
