14 career 3's in 69 games heading into tonight, and he hit 3 in the 1st half. Duke was playing off of him, but that will change the game plan in the 2nd half.

Mitchell was 0-14 for the season from 3 and shooting under 18% in his career and also made a 3.
Is it OK to question a legitimate Hall of Fame coach? St. John's went up 10. Duke went to a match-up zone. St.John's really struggled. Didn't see a whole of lot of adjustments or even a pattern of attack against it.

Neither point guard could throw it in the ocean in the late 6-8 minute stretch. Why was Prey on the bench? I know he's not a point, but at the very least, he draws the attention of the defense.

That aside, Isaiah Evans was the difference for Duke. Steadied the ship. Made huge buckets when Duke had shaky moments. Evans got them out of the funk when St. John's made their run to go up 10.

Dylan Darling, who shot .277 from 3 for the season, takes St. John’s do-or-die three at the end, airball.

Did Arizona steamroll Purdue in that 2nd half or what?!
Arizona seems to sleepwalk through some games at times...but man, when they flip the switch and play at their best, they're probably the best team in the country.

Time for the cranky old guy (or at least middle-aged) in me to come out...

Would it kill teams to come up with a new postgame celebration? I swear, we're 61 games into the tournament, and after about 58 of them, the team had to stack towels on top of the teammate/coach/announcer's head. It was cute when someone did it in the NBA once...it's so played out now.

The world has gone to hell since Magic stole the idea of the high-five from the volleyball players.

Dusty Baker and Glenn Burke for the Dodgers started the high five after a Baker home run back in 1977.

I have stated many times that I got my Master’s degree from Tennessee. In case anyone’s wondering, no, I don’t root for the Vols. I don’t waste time trying to figure out why.

Tennessee was very very good to me, let me teach as a TA. I had an office in the tower at Ayres Hall, which is the building you see every time there’s a TV game at Neyland Stadium.

Probably a charge on Boozer there but the refs probably hate crybaby so much he won't get any breaks from the refs.

Duke folded at the very end. And UConn's Mullins with a great shot for the lead with 0.4 sec left.

Destroyed whatever chance I had left in my pool.
