Pope needs to win big next year. No middle-of-the-pack SEC team. He needs to be a top 10, top 2 SEC team next year and at least a 3 seed. I doubt this moves the needle in that direction.Guy is a **** good player, says all I need to know about your knowledge. Why comment on something that you have zero clue about?![]()
We need some star power because we have ZERO right now. We need better than **** good if we want to compete with the elite.Guy is a **** good player, says all I need to know about your knowledge. Why comment on something that you have zero clue about?![]()

It's like when Michael Scott has the job fair and screws it up with the only kid that showed interest.
Hell if people did that there wouldn't be a dozen posts a day on here .Guy is a **** good player, says all I need to know about your knowledge. Why comment on something that you have zero clue about?![]()
If he has a mean streak it will leave him once Pope starts his team meditation therapy sessions! If he plays with a mean streak and is able to back it up then I’m all for him being a Cat
It appears he may need to re-budget his roster.Maybe Pope is trying to save some money?
What's sad is we were gaslighted into giving Pope a chance, and how'd that work outPeople aren’t willing to give these new kids a chance. That’s sad.
Based on how the fans have been railed the last few years, a healthy dose of skepticism is appropriate.Rated best prospect from Tennessee- Was an Alabama commit - Has offers from USC - Tennessee- Auburn - South Carolina among others.
STOP HARSHLY JUDGING EVERYONE.
Wrong order! Must get the studs first. We’re heading for a fissco.Best case scenario: he expects a mass exodus, even from the deep bench. So he’s filling up on players who won’t threaten high profile transfers.
I doubt this coarse of action was his first choice (pretty obviously it wasn’t) but I hope for all of our sakes he can make the best of it.
The line between our worst fans and the middling-est trolls is razor thin. Trolls have gotten even worse ever since the boards condensed and it became easier to navigate between teams.Watch the guy play and then come back and comment. You’re relying on another man to tell you how good a player is instead of making your own observation.
There’s not a magical number of 5 star players required to win. That’s a narrative pushed every single year by whoever wins it. If a team wins with a stud freshman, the narrative instantly becomes, “you have to have a stud freshman to win these days” and if an experienced team wins with no stud freshman it’s, “You have to have experience in today’s time to win”
In reality, just going by this tournament alone, you can win with experience and you can win with stud freshman but neither is a guarantee.
AJ for BYU will be an absolute stud in the NBA and the #1 pick and is watching from home.
Braden Smith is a senior, has done things the correct way and is playing for a chance at a final four.
“It’s kind convenient how we have more trolls since Kentucky has gotten worse at basketball.”The line between our worst fans and the middling-est trolls is razor thin. Trolls have gotten even worse ever since the boards condensed and it became easier to navigate between teams.
I'm convinced half these folks are like the aliens from They Live. Just get me the sunglasses.

I'm talking about the 50+ accounts that have been created in the past month and do nothing but spout bull ****. I've been on the boards for over a decade. Tennessee, Louisville, and now Arkansas fans love taking the piss and just add to the discontented fans' misery. They're abhorrent and to diminish their existence because our fans have legitimate gripes about Pope and the program is either dishonest or naive. Which are you, Account Created in February Man?“It’s kind convenient how we have more trolls since Kentucky has gotten worse at basketball.”
They aren’t trolls; they’re pissed off at the direction of this program while others tell everyone else to shut up and take it.
I'm willing. I wouldn't bet on the season being a success, but I am open-minded at this point despite my feelings toward Pope.People aren’t willing to give these new kids a chance. That’s sad.
This one seems to fall into the category of role player/backup. I am told we have 9 million for 3 "star" players. One will be a point, and the other may even be a backup point or another very good player who can play point.Maybe Pope is trying to save some money?
The point he's making just flew right over your head didn't itWhat's sad is we were gaslighted into giving Pope a chance, and how'd that work out
