This was a major let down by our players. I’m talking about just this game. Just look at the stats! Wow!

He kills them on the offensive end so bad. If he could shoot outside of 3 feet, would be very helpful.I'm not sure if I still really want Manyawu back next season .................................
Officiating I have to admit was awesome 1st half. Who was ahead at halftime? Officiating....really not so good 2nd half. Who won?
If Hurley was coaching Iowa tonight, he would have got tossed!

Make two of those wide open four missed threes in that 9 down to 5 minute mark and we have a legit chance.
Gave up 28 points in the first half, 43 in the second..... had to be 35 or less.
Total rebounds 32 to 18. Points in the paint 44 to 12.
This post season run was house money. We learned a lot about our coach and many of the players that should be returning next year. Hopefully this helps with recruiting transfer players and coach reloads for a better season next year.

Hell of a run. Everyone counted this team out at the beginning of the season. Proved them all wrong.

I hope Coach McCollum has turned some heads and can bring in some good big guys.
It was bad the whole game. Didn’t let either team play but we had decidedly more touch fouls. But… you can’t get outrebounded that badly and expect to win.
Ultimately, just not enough size. The team went farther than expected but in the end, it’s the position we all were aware of as a weakness since the beginning of the season and were hoping for a portal pickup.
Only 9 minutes though? Yes 2 bad turnovers but didn't give him a chance.

They tried to force the Florida gameplan and it just wasn’t going to work. Illinois more disciplined down there.

I'm not gonna rant about officiating any more, but that sequence where Tate takes the ball to the rim and is HIT by all 3 ILL guys that jump up with him, no whistles ..... and then they call a little reach/tap foul on Iowa 15-20 seconds later on an ILL drive to the rim of the same situation, only 1v1.

If an Elite 8 appearance as a 9 seed with 4 of the 5 starters that wouldn't likely start on any upper half B1G team doesn't turn heads, nothing will. NIL is important but not everything!
No Alvaro was a massive mistake
Yeah. You probably give up some on defense and rebounding by playing him over Banks or Manyawu but the lift in offense would have been worth it. Banks was 1-8 from the field and Manyawu was really bad on offense.
