These guys are being ruled eligible now. Nothing that can be done. Ten years ago, no way.
Fun season. Hard to win a game with 3 players constantly on the floor that cant contribute offensively. Proud of what these guys did this year. What a fucxking ride.
Not even the presence of mine to do that. Just a total collapse mentally late in this game by the whole team.
The Illini likely get DUKE next.

Officiating was one sided but our lack of rebounding was the reason we lost.

Stirtz was hot in the first half, but has hardly shot any threes in the second half.
We slide up to help from the baseline too early. Beat them to a stop and let them come to us.
That narrows the windows to dump it inside and forces them to make a tough split second decision to force a tough layup or pass it in a smaller windows.
They struggled with that against Nebraska and Florida as well, but it didn't bite us in those games.
There are no rules. The NCAA is a joke that gets their asses handed to them in every court case they’ve fought. The NCAA is awful.
As pissed off at officiating we are tonight, that doesn't take away that this team still won 3 more games than MOST expected in this tournament.

Any team is a scary team when you’re allowed to play by two different sets of rules.
My 7 year old daughter is crying, bawling, at this loss. The boys got her to care about sports.
