I forgot that Gamble fouled out of the UNLV game. The Oklahoma game on Friday night. My God, what an ending.

Didn’t Toledo upset us with a long buzzer beater in Bloomington? 1979 conference championship team went out early. 81 I think we played Wichita State at their place. A year or 2 later we lost to Idaho about a half hour from their campus in Pullman, WA. Uggghhh.

You are correct on all counts. Idaho loss was in OT. The first 9 NCAA LOSSES in my lifetime were all extremely painful beginning in 1970. First blowout loss in tournament was 1988 vs AZ.
