Fuck the spinach, olives, artichokes, broccoli and zucchini
Fuck the fruit, but sliced grilled peaches sound interesting

I agree it's the best. Place in Stuart mimics it well. Portnoy liked it.

Portnoy has also done nearly every local pizza joint within 10 miles of me, including the closest - Willie in Juno Beach, who makes great pizza but is a PITA to deal with.

I use Goodfella's up in Jupiter. Portnoy was pretty good to them. And I don't have to deal with Willie.

My brother used to live in Weirton, WV and when he flew in for my mom's funeral he stopped off there to pick up DiCarlo's, which is his favorite. We had some and while I like it, it's not my favorite Ohio Valley Pizza - I preferred Buzzi's in Rochester, PA. That was my mom's favorite too; she liked to pick it up uncooked and take it home to cook (only cooking the slices she was going to eat keeping the rest refrigerated). Thankfully, there is a really, really good OV pizza place in NoVa - Quattro Goomba's Winery in Aldie. Owners are from Beaver County.

Looking at the photos, it seems to be something you could find in many small pizza joints around the country. A lot of places have their own recipe twists, but they don't claim they're creating some sort of pizza revolution. It's pizza. Most of it is generally the same.

Recently for the first time I heard about Regina style pizza from Saskatchewan. It looks good. To me it seems to be a big round baked hoagie which they call pizza because it's round and has some sauce and cheese in it. Really, it's just a big round open-faced sandwich. Just like Chicago style pizza is just a big round casserole.

Our favorite Old Forge style right now is Colarusso's 2.0 in Duryea. Had it last week. Never disappoints.

Always enjoyed Colarusso's in Avoca, loved the antipasto, the pizza and on occasion ordered a small portion of tripe.

My uncle worked at Topps. Had a sheet of the 61 or 62 Yankees , cut them up to individual cards.

IN the early 60s' the Yanks were my favorite team for card tossing. Spent many grade school recesses tossing cards with my friends.

Tossing Cards​

Here is game that requires a subtle touch. Anywhere from two to five or so contestants can play at a time. In this game, the object is to get your card closer to the wall than any of your opponents. In principle, it has some similarities to shuffleboard, bocci or horseshoes in that placement is key and you can knock off your opponent’s throw.
Players decide how many cards will be used per round and mark a line a reasonable distance from the wall (something like 6-12 feet). Standing behind the line, the first player tosses his group of cards (one at a time), towards the wall. The next player then goes and tosses his cards, then the next player, etc.

Ideally, you might get a card so close that it is actually leaning up against the wall. Of course, if your opponent is good and goes after you, he/she can knock it down and potentially land even closer. The player whose card is closest to the wall wins all cards tossed during that round.

I think I’ve had it a couple of times. Typical generic pizza. Not my style. There is one less than a mile from my house and it’s never really an option.
The best in Lexington is Goodfellas. New York style, large, grease. The way pizza should be. If you’re ever in Lexington again, give it a shot. It’s in the distillery district, next door to a brewery (Ethereal).
