No, no it is not. When you attend a game at PNC Park, it is a requirement.

Pour on the Arnnnn.

first time I drank it was at Seven Springs Ski , it was quite enjoyable as far as I remember, or perhaps it was the company

I recall hearing bad things about Arn City back in my PSU days. Some strong opinions about beer, OBVIOUSLY. o_O .

I’m not a beer drinker, but isn’t drinking Arn City like drinking piss?
You are correct Bob
In the early 70s I bought a case for my brother-in-law basically because it was so freaking cheap

I was wondering why he was very pissed at me until I opened a bottle of the suds
It tasted like piss.

I understand the iron city beer has improved greatly since the 70s apparently, the members in this thread aren't 77 years old like myself

I’m assuming this is a free for all thread?

Thought this would be very interesting for the New Jersey residence on this board

Have at it, LOL…….

In grad school at Carnegie Mellon we worked with yeast saccharomyces cerevisiae as model organisms. Used to work with brewmaster there and he would give us pony kegs of their yeast that we would extract various proteins from. I can tell you then was a very quality operation and produced excellent beer. My advisor was a consultant to carelsberg. There was annual yeast molecular biology meeting at cold spring harbor and every evening different brewer would be there with tap truck

Oh it is that bad. Good friend of mine passed at 90 and he always drank it. So all of us bought a six pack and took a video to send to his wife. All of us took a gulp? For the video. Then all of us threw it out. We are all in separate states.

now as a kid in state college we bought milwaukees best and Busch cans. Think they were 4.95 a case.
