"They didn't make the final four". Yeah... they didn't make a lot of other things either.

Reminds me of those losers with the "so proud of this team's fight", "I saw things that have me optimistic for a final four", and of course the immortal "UK is the 7 seed nobody wants in their bracket".

Teams that want to be remembered as fighters don't fold to Gonzaga at home (Nashville) by 25 points, get ripped apart by Michigan State without a fight, or play super inconsistent on any given night in conference play. Getting BTA'd by Vandy is unacceptable.

That not giving a **** attitude is partly why fans became so animated and hateful during the season. The kids just wouldn't show up half the time. We can deal with losses. We can't deal with not giving 100% effort.

As bad as the team was, you could tell they did fight. Poor roster construction and “injuries” and substitutions are not their fault.

Starting halves in a hole is not fighting.
Letting opponents back into games on a consistent basis is not fighting.
Standing there while the other team gets the rebound is not fighting.
Refusing to set picks is not fighting.
Refusing to defend with your arms in the opponent's face is not fighting.
Sitting on the bench pretending to have swelling is not fighting.

Yeah this group will be remembered for kinda getting it together, like 2 decent players and a bunch of BS overall. They didn’t give it in a lot of games but they weren’t fighters. They dug more holes in a first half than any team in my lifetime. Probably more than teams in decades if I’m honest.

I have no reason to remember this team. 00 is the only guy I could say thanks for giving your all to the program. Chandler maybe but Ill just forgot and move on like a crazy ***** x girl. Probably same thing next year and our interest will be completely gone afterwards.

Mitch is tone deaf. Eli is tone deaf. Pope is tone deaf. And now it's trickled down to the players because they are totally tone deaf if they think we will remember them as fighters. I was going to remember them as quitters. How many times did they just flat out quit this year?

We have fans here who want Mo D back because he plays hard. I guess the bar has been successfully lowered.
