148th straight start tonight, all at Purdue. Don't see that much these days.
That was violent of an elbow as I’ve seen in the ~1k games I’ve watched this season. Think he got off pretty lightly.
Iowa really hung in there, Nebraska was on fire from outside. I kinda doubt Nebraska can keep up that kind of shooting.
Purdue gets the tap-in. Great game. Classic. Well done by both teams. Top-notch game.

Purdue wins a great game. Texas couldn't rebound and that usually is a recipe to lose.
Surprised Iowa pulled away at the end. Kind of nice to see all the Nebby fans get shut up. I think both teams see their dance ticket expire in the elite 8.

Texas fought though...they impressed me. Expect Purdue to look much better.

The TV refs like Gene Staratore (however you spell it) is a "rules expert" in BOTH basketball and football??
Hate how everything fell with Purdue dragging and Iowa going quickly that both games finished at the same time…now, both late games start within a minute of each other.
Few can pull it off…Gene was a high level ref in both sports.
Yeah I figured he was qualified just didn't know if this was common.
I never watch basketball, turned on Illinois-houston, and was quickly reminded why I never watch basketball. These guys shoot sh|t. For f*ck’s sake.

Watched the replay of Purdue's winning put back by Kaufman-Renn. He definitely shoved the Texas guy under the basket to gain the advantage. I guess refs swallow their whistle in those situations since it wasn't egregious but there was a clear shove.
It was frustrating at the Palestra watching Illinois’ size really take us out of our offense. Watching them do it to Houston is another story.
They look like they are playing their best game of the season. They picked a good time.
