When she was a child she likely spoke to a relative that could remember the day Lincoln was assassinated

One of her earliest memories was October 29th 1929. She was at her grandmother's apartment because they were poor and the neighbor was running out to the bank because he had $10,000 in cash in there there. She says she doesn't know what happened to him but he didn't come back. She remembers her grandmother saying "we don't need to worry, we have nothing there"

Living a century is a big deal.

It was a bigger deal to us than her. All the family, came together to celebrate. Ordered Italian, champagne and cake.
