I believe the 4 champs tonight puts Cael at 42 individual national champs he’s coached at PSu. I think he’s only 3 behind Gable for the most. That’s another nice goal to shoot for next year.

Last night makes it 44 for Cael, which puts him one behind Gable's 45.
Including his time with Iowa State (you know, before wrestling was invented), Cael Sanderson now has coached wrestlers to the most NCAA titles in history.

Only at PSU could the Team record 4 Individual Champions and have people claim it was a poor tournament (and that Okie State is getting ready to take the throne). PSU recorded 4 Individual Champions, 2 Runner-ups, a 3rd and a 4th.... and set a new NCAA Team Scoring Record, but according to some PSU and Cael had a poor tournament especially compared to Okie State and DT??? LMAO.
