Again, we have all said it a thousand times… . write it down.

MARK POPE NEVER SHOULD HAVE BEEN HIRED, WE ALL KNOW THIS. HE DIDN'T HAVE THE QUALIFICATIONS.

Hopefully you remember it this time.
Tommy Lloyd, Jon Scheyer, Todd Golden, and Dan Hurley, all had inadequate resumes and or experience to be hired at their present position. Also, we didn't even look at Dusty May, who had one NCAA run, with a .646 winning percentage, and now we would kill to have anyone of them.

If every post you make on this board isn't whining about Pope (like some of the accounts on here) than you're obviously just a "glazer/pumper" of his.
That's what these guys don't understand, we all know Pope should never have been hired and we all know his time here will be short lived if he doesn't fix all the issues.
The difference between us and the petulant children is, we understand that Pope is getting a 3rd year. No AD with common sense would fire Pope after 2 years.
Nobody fires coaches after 2 years, especially a coach that has the highs that Pope has had here.
If he missed the tournament, sure, it would be on the table, but that's not the case here.

Agreed.

Mitch should never be allowed anywhere near the basketball program ever again.

No, you just don't understand how responsible adults operate. You live in fairytale land.
Oh, okay.

I haven’t watched Iowa state this year. From everything I’ve read this guys a heck of a player. Since he most likely won’t be playing, how do you all feel it helps our chances tomorrow

He's always posted under a dozen accounts at the same time. As many have said, he's mentally not well.
You better not even think about saying that’s me arguing with people. You’ve tried to lie and blame me for stuff in the past and I’m sick of it. I’ll contact whoever I need to if you insinuate that’s me.

We’d still be about 60% likely to lose. Reason is their defense. The way the game is officiated will be a big factor. A tight whistle benefits us because they play extremely physical and force a lot of turnovers. We have a chance to win the game, but if the officials let it play loose, we could lose by 10+.

If UK could pull off the upset it would help a lot. The more Pope wins in the tournament, I could see that hopefully helping recruiting. That’s Popes biggest weakness as a coach.

If you find yourself caring more about owning other posters and coming up with smart quips, or what you think are smart quips, maybe you could pause and ask yourself if you are spending what little time we have wisely.

If we have a fully healthy team and he still loses 10 games, I'll be the first one to help him pack.

That's what you f*ckstick's aren’t comprehending. We keep saying he probably isn’t the right guy, but his issues are easily fixable. If he doesn't fix them next year, he nedds to he canned.

I don't care what you guys think, but injuries matter and his two seasons at UK have been riddled with injuries. That matters.
THIS! These children can’t comprehend this! They had their collective minds made up wayyyyy before we ever played a game under Mark Pope. They’re dug in and their heels aren’t moving.

A 14ppg junior guard is also out for them tomorrow. Good news for us.

edit: he’s been out the whole year. I misread his stats from last season. He was listed as out on the game availability report.

Who is that?
Never mind, he missed the entire year with surgery. I read the availability report and he’s listed as out. He was a nice piece for them, but he hasn’t played this year so it doesn’t matter with regards to this team.
