Anyone that is being fair, sees the injuries, they see the big wins last year, they see that he started with no players in April after Cal left and they see that even with 3 starters out, in the toughest conference in the country, he still pulled off some big wins, got to 23 wins and won a tournament game.
Pope has done nothing that deserves his termination.
As soon as JQ and Lowe were out and Pope still made the tournament, a 3rd year was set.
If he sucked last year, didn't win an NCAAT and sucked again this year, he would be done, but you can't fire Pope after this season given the circumstances.
This is simple common sense.
