That’s a lot of walks but I think he was pitching around Rhodes and Davis a lot. He didn’t want them to beat him.

Owen Hull is absolutely rolling, also I couldn’t love how he plays the game any more.

Yeah, the best offenses leave a ton of guys on base because they get guys on base.
It’s way better than the first two games of the UVa series when we had almost no runners to leave on base most innings.

Ferrin is a grinder, will do any media gig related to baseball he can find. Crazy that he was calling the WBC final on radio earlier this week and is now in Chapel Hill calling college games.
It’s honestly mind blowing how Caden should still be in high school, and he’s this good playing against some of the best competition in the country.
Based on all evidence he’s not going to pitch back-to-back days at this point in the year, just like McDuffie last year. Doesn’t matter how many times you post it.
He’s probably going to pitch in every Friday game that is still competitive when DeCaro comes out. If they need to extend him, they will. If not, he’ll be ready to come back Sunday.

Even his fly balls just sound and look different than everyone else. Reminds me of the way it came off Vance and Mac’s bat. Just so much torque in his midsection.

i'll bring this back up in a wrap-up forum thread after this series, but 22 games into the season, this lineup still has more BBs than Ks. married that patience beautifully today with great 2-strike hitting, just extending swings and finding grass on their way to 9 runs before Coop's bomb
Louisville only had two more hits than I did tonight. That’s an accomplishment.
