Think @goheels1117 hit it right, they aren’t going to let Davis beat them. If he was a tad more patient there, Jason probably walks him with 2 outs. But, nonetheless really nice job on the 2-0 and 3-1 pitches there.

these accn broadcasts are funny because the analysts are huge meatheads and ferrin is a big-time baseball nerd, so he ends up knowing a lot more ball than the analysts. fun pair to listen to though regardless imo
Good performance by Jason. Struggled with his control, but they couldn't hit him hard and only gave up 1 run. I'll take that every time.
If you’d told me DeCaro gave Louisville 8 free baserunners in 5.2 IP I would have first wondered how the hell he made it through 5.2 innings and then never would guess he only allowed 1 run.
Jason showed a ton of toughness in that outing. Impressive to get 5 2/3 innings giving up 1 run while walking 6 and 2 HBPs. Missed barrels which is what really matters. Nice 1 pitch 1 out from Caden.
