197 QF - #1 Josh Barr vs. #9 Angelo Posada (STAN)

Period 1:
Here we go. Barr shoots almost immediately & gets in deep on a leg. He works up & then behind & finishes the TD, 3-0. Posada works to his feet, but then Barr brings him back to the Resilite & gets him bellied out on the edge. Out of bounds & restart. Posada is still down. He works to his feet, but Barr is hanging heavy on the back. Barr sucks him back, but Posada rolls to his base. Posada tries to come up, but Barr breaks him down to his belly again. Barr goes over 1-min of riding time. He's just grinding Posada into the mat. Barr has a wrist & looks for a tilt, but can't lock it up. He keeps working & hits the tilt, then adds 4 NF, 7-0. Out of bounds & restart. Posada is still down. Barr is at 2:01 in riding time. Posada works to a quadpod, but not for long. He works back to a quadpod, but Barr sucks him back to the mat & rides out the period. 7-0 Barr, +over 2-min RT

No. You're insane for ripping our guy MM for a nothing burger.
"You said he has room to grow, and that is UNACCEPTABLE!!!"

Just listen to yourself. Go to any other community that isn't an echo chamber and the comments about messenbrink are ALL calling him a tool for this repeated behavior. I don't think the actions shown today were even close to some of his worst personally, but the wrestling community at large is very unimpressed with it. it does merit noting he has room to grow as a person on this front. Cael never had meltdowns like this and that's one of the reasons he is the 🐐

What hurts Barr is that 197 is a super weak weight class compared to 165 and 141.
There is an argument that it is weaker but I don't think the difference is really that large tbh

Barr and messenbrink both wrestled the 9 seed and both of them are pretty equally impressive imo. Barr had no issue dominating to bonus with that in mind. Could be a case that 141 is the toughest of the three weights maybe

Now now, for all my flaws at least I can claim to not be that guy:D

Fine. But don't go back on your word. You have A LOT of comments out there. Folks are going to stumble upon them, and respond to them for quite some time. DO NOT respond to those posts. This needs to end, and it only does when you stop responding.

And if you disregard that, and go back on your word, then I will ban you. I don't joke around about these things.
