19 years ago my 7 yo and I were WRESTLING” (that’s why it fits on this board this weekend
). He gets an illegal takedown with an inadvertent shot to the testies. Made me want to puke it hurt so bad.
Three weeks later still hurts and swollen. See doc on Wednesday, revisit to look at ultrasound Friday and had a cancerous testicle removed Tuesday. Cancer was in the testicle and quietly living unnoticed. Doc clearly stated “your son saved your life! Gone unnoticed, it would have likely spread”.
So today I celebrate 19 years cancer free from that incident. Since then, in the past 4 years, I have had 4 skin cancers removed.
God is good!
