I sorta remember a combined rounds 1 and 2 thread being the set up from previous years. Tom will revise, or not, as he sees fit.

I somehow ended up with Purdue winning it all. My big stretch is Pennsylvania (my boyhood team) over Illinois. Y’all got 58 minutes to finish your brackets; it couldn’t be easier.

TCU on fire against Ohio State, playing beautiful basketball.

TCU up 15 at halftime, dang, really dominating.

Sienna looks--decent. I mean, I knew Doty was good but I expected Duke to be able to neutralize him and to score at will. Neither has happened. Duke relying on 3s for absolutely no reason when they have a size advantage.

McNeese State-Vanderbilt going down to the wire. McNeese missed layups on consecutive trips, can’t do that and expect to win.

The game is not yet over but Vanderbilt will not lose. McNeese State went ice-cold down the stretch.

Huge 3 by VCU--UNC deserved to lose--I think they made 1 FG in the last 8 minutes including none in OT

I don't like or hate UNC--they were simply outcoached. The kids didn't have any legs left--much like Sienna about Duke earlier (but I understand why McNamara just played his 5--it was the only shot)

I'm a big UNC fan. Tonight was disappointing, but hardly surprising. Nearly lost a 30-point lead at home to Syracuse earlier this year. They lack athleticism and an alpha dog. Hate to take shots at coaches, but... Carolina played 6 people in the 2nd half. No defensive adjustments. No half-court offense. Grade school level in-bounds plays when they were needed most. Played not to lose from around the 6 minute mark of regulation. Just a pitiful performance from the top down.
