I actually wasn’t going to post because I’ve already said everything that I need to say about this team. I’ll admit that I was wrong about the Minnesota game, as I thought that they’d lose that one too. The only thing that I’ll say now is that after they lose this game, they would’ve won one out of nine against Michigan and MSU this season; that’s absurd.Sadly you know BCS is licking his chops to post and be his typical DB self.
I agree with your post. The fact that they won one out of nine games against Michigan and MSU may have been tolerable when this program first started playing D-1, but not now with a team that has several players on it who either have been or will be drafted, including a first rounder last year and a first rounder this upcoming summer. This season since the MSU home series has been a big disappointment, and I know that injuries have been a factor but all teams have them. They ended up going 4-8 in their last twelve games going back to the MSU home series.Penn State turned out to have a good team but not one of the elites. With recruiting wins unlike we’ve seen before in addition to coming off a Frozen Four appearance, it was not unrealistic to have high expectations of this team. Keeping the puck out of their own goal, unfortunately, became a big limiting reagent for their season.
Hopefully they still have some games left to play. If they do, then my reasonable expectations remain the same: they can probably win the first game, but less likely against a team in a regional final.
Yep, eight of their last twelve games. IMO, that’s definitely losing too much.We lose too much.![]()
I know enough about hockey from watching it since I was like seven or eight years old to have analyzed this team perfectly weeks ago. I could see that they had major issues that were going to be exposed and, what do you know, they certainly were exposed beginning in late January. Also, you posted last week after the Wisconsin debacle that they might have to win at least two Big 10 playoff games to make the Tournsment. Well, they didn’t; if they make the Tournament, it will be by the slimmest of margins.^ There he is. I’m sure you couldn’t wait.
is no committee. It is NPI. 16, 15, 14 , etc. get knocked out based on conference champs not in top 16.
You clearly do not know as much as you claim.
Go cheer for Michigan or MSU.
We all know and have known they have some issues. The problem is you don’t ever show up after Ws or ever have anything good to say. You only show up to be a negative a hole. How about you act like a true fan and enjoy the good and roll with the bad. Good fans don’t show up just after bad outcomes and act excited to blast the team. This defines you. Good - disappearing act. Bad - act gleeful to post and act like a know it all.I know enough about hockey from watching it since I was like seven or eight years old to have analyzed this team perfectly weeks ago. 99%, yes. The NHL team that selects him will do one of three things. Bring him up right away, have him go to AHL so they can bring him up, or the very very very slim chance they say, we want you to spend 1 more year there since it is good competition. That option has to only be about 1% though.Do we think he‘s one and done at PSU?

Vancouver and Calgary are such **** shows, I think they will bring him up. I would love to see him go to Flames instead of Canucks.
Penn State needed this. It will show other top 10 type recruits/picks they can come here and not have it harm their development or status. It was fun while it lasted.
