Don’t forget Cal had basically stopped getting guards of his caliber at Kentucky. He’s the best Calipari guard since Tyrese Maxey. I remember Davion Mintz being the best guard on a Calipari Kentucky roster. I remember Calipari letting Sahvir Wheeler start over 40 games. Tyty, Cason, Rob, and Reed were all good players but even they weren’t in the Acuff/Maxey/SGA/Murray/Ulis/Wall/Knight tier of Calipari guards.
