I think we will be tested. Hopefully pull away late, but don’t cover. 82-69
Think 17.5 is way too much for a team that doesn't have much depth. All it takes is dumb foul trouble for us. Think we win in the 10-15 points range
Agree. Think Duke pulls it out, but in early January when Duke was healthy and FSU was terrible Duke won by 4 iirc.
Now, Duke’s not healthy and FSU is actually pretty good. 10-8 in the Acc I believe after losing first five.
I wouldn’t put any stock into our first game with them. That was during the few week period when we decided to not play any defense. Jon was still having us switch everything on D, and our bigs were getting shredded.
Now Cam and our 5-man don’t switch to guards. This is what really made our defense take off.
I think it’s close early but we pull away.

Duke by 8-10. Most important, by a mile, stay HEALTHY!
Cayden just needs to relax . His three 3’s weren’t off bad but his hesitation is showing . Just let it fly young man . But free throws are a little for worry . Good game so far .
We should be up by 10 (at least) based on our on the court play. They are throwing up guarded 3s from everywhere and they’re going in. We have missed a ton of wide open solid three shots. And we’ve missed way too many free throws. Just gotta keep playing the way we are and hope they stop being so fortunate with their threes, make our free throws, and hit our open threes.

Second half , I think only Brown and Cayden have two fouls . Time to turn up the heat and Cayden’s last three he shot you could see he was iffy about shooting , just let it go . Still a tight game .
This isn’t a shocking statement, but most felt we’d miss Caleb and Pat, and this first half shows. We’ve got three guys that need to do more, and time will tell if they can do what we need them to. But in the first half of our new look team, this isn’t pretty.
Khamenia struggles on D. He’s a step slow, and gets beaten a lot. Cayden is going to have to hit some shots, or this is not going to get any easier. Sarr, for how good he is on D, is very limited on offense. His ball handling is very weak, and his only contributions are if he hits corner 3’s.
Let’s hope for some good adjustments here at the half.

The worst thing that could have happened is Cayden going 1-5 overall and 0-4 from three while being left wide open. His confidence is shaken. The best thing that can happen now is he lets his nuts hang, knock those shots down like we know he can. You are a top recruit young man, you are a big guard and a winner. Remember who you are. And I believe he will come out this half and start leading this team. Thereafter, everything else will fall into place.
If I was Jon, the first play I would run this half would be for Cayden.
We had a legitimate shot at a national championship before Pat and Caleb went down. Now....eh....it's not looking good.
Sad but we’ve got a few guys who have that “deer in headlights” look. Too much pressure is being put on Cam and Evans.

They're collapsing the defense on Cam. We need a big out there for a lob threat or someone Cam can pass to on the inside.
Just like that, the tide completely changed. We went from down 8, to up 8. Love the fight they’re showing.
That miss by Evans was big. Perfect play with the pick by Brown and he was wide open. Need to dig deep these last 4 minutes
