Great draws: Marcus, PJ, Mitch, Levi, Rocco, Josh.

Decent draws: Cole, Luke, SVN

Rough draw: Davis

Shayne will need to get to work on day one because Frost can be a problem if he doesn't, then again anyone is a problem if Shayne doesn't bring it.

Facundo is an issue only if Levi doesn't come in healthy. Room familiar doesn't work after a couple years.

DTs gang got a bunch of pansies in the opening round so we need to handle business head to head on them.

Ohio State got worse draws than we did which is frankly shocking to me considering they routinely get the best draws.

I don't think Taylor is going to like the draws for his guys and I personally like a good bit of head to heads against our guys if seeds hold.

Rocco has a great bracket. Ferrari Sinclair and mcenelley on the other side.
That’s about as good a bracket as one could ever have in the national tournament. None of the big conference big dogs and James Conway in the semis after losing in his conference tournament. He paid no price for losing it seems.

Some Interesting early matches:

125: #5 Spratley/ #12 Robinson in R2
133: #2 Davino/#7 Byrd
141: Davis and Hardy, if Davis doesn’t lose R1.
149: #2 Jaxon Joy/ #15 Ryder Block in R2. Block is a tough out, #11 Lachlan McNeil has a good draw.

Non-PSU matches I'm excited for at first glance:

- Volk/Bouzakis in the quarters.
- Byrd down at the 7 for a quarter with Davino.
- Evans/Swiderski round 2
- Buesgens/Carter Young round 2 with winner getting Gaj
- Millard/Zerban round 1 with winner getting Robideau round 2. Quarter on that side is the winner of that mess against Larkin
- Facundo/Mantanona round 2
- Ferrari/Sinclair quarter with winner getting McEnelly
- Elam/Merrill quarter. I think Gabe could make some noise in his quarter of the bracket. Has a pretty good draw if he can get by Rademacher.

Provided Block shoots more than once. After the TD he sorta stalled his way to a loss.

You guys might think I'm crazy but I seriously don't mind mirasolas draw.
I don’t either. All the really large guys are away from him. He can absolutely beat Kueter. Bastida is definitely tough but not a big heavy and skill wise Cole matches up pretty well. Then it would be Feldman or Ferrari which again is a decent match up. I like it

I see some saying they don’t love LL draw but I think it’s pretty good. The bottom quarter bracket on his side is brutal. Having Spratley, VRob, and Seymour all in 1 quarter is tough. Luke will only have to see 1 of them. Peterson isn’t an issue anymore. The one guy I’m a bit worried about is Ventresca and that would be in the finals

Facundo is the only wrestler in the field that has a win over Haines in any style since Haines has been at Penn State and Kharchla has challenged him in the past. He'll still win it all but I think Haines got the worst possible draw.

I also think Davis got the best possible draw. Where would you put him in the 12-16 range that could be better? Drury is underseeded at 19 but it's winnable and Hardy is his best matchup in the round of 16 as he was winning when he got caught.

I don’t recall that. But the fact that the show is prerecorded makes anything possible.
I don't think it was last year, but FLO did get the seeds early one year. They did not announce them but there was a moment during the show while they were predicting the seeds and Pyles kinda smiled and said.... so and so will get the #...seed. Their next show Pyles admitted they got the seeds early so he knew the exact seeds for the weight they were discussing at the time....as well as all other weights. They laughed about it afterwards and I think Pyles admitted that it was hard not to go Nostradamus and "predict" them all.

174:
#1 Haines
#2 Simon Ruiz (Cornell)
#3 Minto (Nebraska)
#4 Kharchla (tOSU)

Interestingly, Alex Facundo is the #8 seed, and would meet Haines in the quarters if they wrestle to seed.
Levi will crush him now. Anyone who knows Levi’s mind set right now knows he’ll at least Major Facundo maybe worse

I agree about Levi. Facundo does worry me a bit but I think Mantanona beats him first. Listening to Nolf on FRL the other day he said that Facundo is one of the toughest matchups for Levi and we saw him beat Levi in freestyle not that long ago. If they do end up wrestling I’m 100% picking Levi but I can see it being a super tight match. I’m actually pulling for Mantanona in that 2nd round match
