That guy is really, really dumb. I wonder how he holds a job.
Christian Carroll and 2 guys nobody ever heard of transferred to PSU lol. And this is evidence that Cael is winning by throwing bags at everybody in sight.

If a parent gets upset over what fans say, it's on the parent. People have made fun of my kid for a lot of ridiculous stuff.

One of my favorite quotes is..

"What other people think of me is none of my business"
Who the hell would make fun of your kid when we have you around!

I don't think Carter wants to be liked by anyone....

That just seems like such an odd thing for Carter to post. Why post that you are picking against your teammates from last season? I could see if someone asked him the question in an interview, but to put your opinions out there voluntarily rubs me the wrong way. It also stands out to me that three of the Penn State wrestlers he chose against, which includes MM losing the Hodge race, just happen to be at or near his weight. It makes me wonder if he has burned his bridges with Penn State and NLWC?

One of the guys I was at BIGs with has a daughter at PSU. Starocci was "dating" her roommate. Some of the stories I've heard of his antics, I'm glad he's gone and the program can move ahead without him.

I've come to a conclusion in regards to Carter.

He's an idiot.

Cael certainly has volunteered it publicly that he really wants Levi to consider staying around.

I wonder if there was a straw poll among wrestlers and coaches and it didn’t come back rosy for the 5-timer.

Before the 2018 finals when Cael ask how Bo visualized his match with Martin Bo told him I am going to out there and let him take me down, then put me on my back and give them hope. Then I am going to pin him. Cael's response was, well no, let's try and come up with a better plan.

I would really prefer it if SVN could use a better plan this week. Something like just go ahead and overwhelm everybody right from the beginning.

He won 5 titles for you guys. Why the hate ? He just gave his picks
I hate to agree with Corby, but a former wrestler giving his picks for the NCAA wrestling championships shouldn’t be unusual. I know some people disagree with some of them, but he picked 5 PSU champs. Is that really dissing the program?

Starocci does seem like kind of a douchebag, but I think we knew that. He’s always been pretty abrasive on social media. I’m not ready to buy the worst of the stories that constitute clearly criminal activity when it’s only coming from an attention “hound” and a dude with clear mental illness issues.

I would hardly be shocked if Minto wins it all. I stated it in another thread, he's going to win (at least) one NCAA championship before he's done. Both the Haines vs. Minto matches were razor thin; Minto is a freak athlete who is rapidly becoming a better wrestler. If I had to choose two PSUs #1 seeds who I don't think will be atop the podium, it's Rocco and Levi. Interestingly, the two guys who are (like Starocci) straight up dawgs who have made their names being incredibly difficult to beat in close matches.

Totally agree about Starocci. He comes across as a really unlikeable person, but he was PSU's prick for 5yrs. That same drive and unwillingness to lose which made him impossible to beat in close matches also tends to result in an abrasive personality.

Cael says hi.
You're going to have to fill me in. "Cael says hi" because he wouldn't like that one of his former athletes is guessing Haines won't win? "Cael says hi" because it's improbable that one of his #1 guys loses?

I wouldn't bet against Haines, but I won't be shocked if Minto beats him 1/3. I believe Sparks called their last match the one he was most interested in (over Blaze vs. Davino II) because it could go either way, and it lived up to the hype.

The last sentence you used in your post to describe Carter also applies to Cael. Yet, Cael remained humble and wasn’t a jerk.
