Cael is hoping that it means Ryan has to go to the Coach's press meeting at the NCAAs
They are very clearly linked. What happened with these B10 awards is a sign of what's probably going to happen with the Hodge in a few weeks. Mendez will get it simply because everyone else is tired of seeing PSU guys win, even if they are most deserving.

Actually, I am sorry if I screwed up. I definitely am focused just on the Hodge.
Tom said that VV got the nod over Williams because VV showed "More Fight". I thought that was telling. I took it as "Williams got the bag as a Senior and is having fun spending it" It seemed like Nasir was heading the same way during parts of the season and got pulled, but he re-dedicated himself and showed up ready at BIGs. Good on Bailey.

Cael can't be coach of the year because all he does is recruit the highest rated wrestlers. If Tom had recruited the best wrestlers.......he would have no legitimate claim to being named coach of the year. Wait....I am getting a call from Snopes......It seems that when this years' Ohio State senior class were freshman recruits.....IT was overwhelming voted the best recruiting class.....some said best EVER. So..............Nevermind
