White isn’t eligible for a bid I don’t thinkDid White do enough to get in? Shawver should get a WC spot at 133 short of massive ********. So either we get 9 in or all 10 in.

White is eligible for a WC but idk if he’ll get it. 15-8 with 1 win over an NQ (Millard). Currently 5 guys (ACCs and IVY are still wrestling) that earned a spot for their conference need wilcards. 4 wildcards are available. White beat 2 of the guys that need a wildcard but they both had better seasons then him.Did White do enough to get in? Shawver should get a WC spot at 133 short of massive ********. There’s absolutely no need for a 2nd ref in this sport, unless their only responsibilities are time countdown and locked hands/illegal moves.WTF was that, the side ref ruled off back points. These guys are blind. I thought it was 4 instead of 2 and the dipsh*t side ref wipes them all out.
I’d guess somewhere between #8-12What kind of seed can Oliveri expect?
Purdue is always a solid wrestling program.I am not sure why Michigan State, Maryland, Northwestern and Purdue have wrestling programs.
Well, preseason there is usually always hype n positive hoo rah.. some people were saying this could be our best team ever and possibly 3+ AA and yeah maybe qualify 9/10 or everyone ofc this was all preseason… qualifying a whole squad would be impressive but they really should consider giving a team point just for qualifying a wrestler…Bottom line: we likely get nine out of 10 weights represented at the NCAA’s. Did anybody think this would be the case in December? Even midway through January?
Now, for once, can one of our teams exceed expectations in the postseason? We’re due. Let’s go!
I highly doubt anybody said this could be our best team everWell, preseason there is usually always hype n positive hoo rah.. some people were saying this could be our best team ever and possibly 3+ AA and yeah maybe qualify 9/10 or everyone ofc this was all preseason… qualifying a whole squad would be impressive but they really should consider giving a team point just for qualifying a wrestler…
It was either best or def deepest with no holes. That was said of either this preseason or the last few. And there were def predictions of possible 3+ AAI highly doubt anybody said this could be our best team ever
As evident by the fact that we’re staring at potentially 9 guys going to nationals and the 10th guy was a big ten 5 seed sitting on the bubble, well anyone who predicted this team doesn’t have any holes has been proven correct. It was either best or def deepest with no holes. This Rutgers roster is not shaped up to be a good tournament team. I actually think they managed to become a better dual team than last year while simultaneously becoming a worst tournament team which is almost impossible.I said Olivieri would AA preseason but couldn't anticipate his long lay off. I remember there was a lot of chatter about no AAs. 3 seems wildly optimistic but not impossible.
Rutgers has struggled at NCAA recently. Teams they beat at big tens could pass them in 2 weeks. Wisconsin, Indiana, Purdue and maybe even Maryland should have wrestlers place. As a fan, I'd love to see Rutgers finish ahead of these teams (and in state teams too!!!).

I do think they’ll turn a bit of a corner next year with Knox and both Harer’s coming in. They’ll have to hit the portal to fill in a hole or two but I think Knox alone will have them rising up the tournament standings. He’s also the type of recruit where more talent should be coming.
Yeah I remember this chatter.I think most folks on here preseason basically agreed that for this season the AA O/U was likely at 1.5 with a general consensus that the best AA chances were Shawver, Olivieri, and Pinto.
Unfortunately it’s probably O/U of .5 now. Smith,Shawver,Clark,Pinto, SCW and Catka have about 1 percent of placingI think most folks on here preseason basically agreed that for this season the AA O/U was likely at 1.5 with a general consensus that the best AA chances were Shawver, Olivieri, and Pinto.
A tough break? He had his opportunity. While I'm impressed he was able to beat Braxton Brown twice, his performance during the regular season and the B1G tournament was uninspiring. He is where he got himself.Shawver got a tough break. Even if he reclaimed his magic from a couple years ago this 133 group is completely ridiculous. There’s 10+ guys who are locks as AA’s in any other year, now 2 are automatically going to miss and that doesn’t even account for a Cinderella run from someone or a tough draw in the bracket forcing someone off the podium.
for me it's tough to say this because Shawver is "our guy", but you are right.A tough break? He had his opportunity. While I'm impressed he was able to beat Braxton Brown twice, his performance during the regular season and the B1G tournament was uninspiring. He is where he got himself.
